Public Hearing on the proposed uses of Federal Revenue Sharing funds <br />in the Village budget for the year 1977-78 was held on Monday, <br />March 21~ 1977 at 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett~ Tr. Dolan, Tr. Alfonso, Tr. Bain, Tr. Lawrence, <br />Tr. Belding, Tr. O~Rourke~ Atty. Lyons and Treasurer Campilii~ <br /> (absent) <br /> <br />Notice of Public Hearing published in the W. & S.D. News on 3-9-77. <br /> <br />Purpose of the Hearing is to provide residents of the community with <br />the opportunity to present written and oral comments on the possible <br />uses of revenue sharing funds. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported that under the new legislature~ municipalities are <br />obligated to conduct a Public Hg. prior to the adoption of their budget. <br /> <br />Treasurer Campilii reported that, under the present budget, revenue <br />sharing funds were allocated as follows: <br /> <br />Fire Department: $2,000. Other Expense <br />Police Department: $23,000. Salaries <br />Sanitation: $25,000. <br /> <br />No one present voiced an opinion as to how revenue sharing funds should <br />be allocated. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Alfonso, seconded by Tr.
