//0 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held .on <br />Wednesday, July 13, 1977 at 7:30 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Presents Mayor Synnett, Tr. Dolan, Tr. Alfonso, Tr. Lawrence, <br />Silvestri, Tr. O~Rourke, Tr, Schiuella and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Minutes of a Public Hearing and the last regular zieeting held 6-8-77 <br />had been duplicated and previously presented to Board mesbers. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. Silvestri that the above <br />minutes be accepted as written. Carried, <br /> <br />Mro Ra~faele, 16 North Street, discussed a drainage proble~which has <br />existed on his property for quite[ so~e time. He stated Villape was <br />to'have made ~epairs'three years a~o and nothing has been done. <br />~lr. Raffaeie St&red.he had.plugged up drainage pipe and was n~k~ng <br />arrang~mgts to have pipe pulled off his property. <br /> <br />Communications: <br /> <br />Village Justice Mann*s report for June, 1977 was read showing a total <br />of $1266.00 collected in fines. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Silvestri, seconded by Tr. Alfonso that the above report <br />be accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter of appreciation read from Mr. Anthony J. Caccamo for granting <br />~he Wappingers Central School peraission to use Mesier Parkfor the <br />annual Festival of the Arts.-Filed. <br /> <br />Letter reed fron Mr. Howard H. Bricksen.for U.S. Cablevision Corp.~ <br />requesting the Village Board to reschedule the date for a Public <br />Hearin~ on a rate increase to a note reasonable ~ate. <br /> <br />Clerk directed to advise Hr. Ericksen that date would remain as <br />previouslyseheduled. . <br /> <br />Letter read from the Coutinewtal Insurance Cc~panies reporting inspection <br />was made at the S.W. Johnson Coupany and the drain on the cast iron <br />boiler, on the bottm of the .autoaatic low water fuel cut-off device, <br />does not function properly. They recmend that sa~e be disassembled, <br />cleaned and repaired and put in good operating condition. Copies <br />forwarded Fire Committee. <br /> <br />Tr. Alfonso reported boiler was beyond repalss and should be replaced. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Silvestri, seconded by Tr. O'Rourke that the Village <br />advertis~ bids for the purchase of a new furr~ae at the S.N. Johnson <br />Bngine Hquse. Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
