A Workshop session concerning the future of the Power Plant was held on <br />7-6-78 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnettt Tr. Dol&nt Tro Alfonso, Tr. Lawrence~ Tr. Silvestri, <br />& Att. Lyons. <br /> <br />Also present: Att. for the proposed purchasers, Harold H. Reillyt William <br />Hovenmeyer~ John NcSweeney & James Brown. <br /> <br />Att. Lyons reported N.Y.$ Office for Parks and Recreation was contacted <br />and their response was that the Lake was not alienated fr~any speoific <br />purposes. <br />He stated an article apDeared in the Municipal Bulletin back in January <br />which said, in part, that the State would partially fund the project. <br /> <br />Att. Lyons reported he wro~ the Conference of Mayors and the State Energy <br />Office in reference to above and received a telephone call from the State <br />Energy Office ieportin§ there was no funding available. <br />He stated they did recommend the Village be reimbursed ~ of gross income <br />on the first 4~000,000 hrs. rather than 5~000,000 kilowatt hours. <br /> <br />Mr. Hoveomeyer reported they did submit a proposal to the State Energy <br />Commission. <br /> <br />Tr. Dolan reported there was only one point outstanding and that was <br />monetary. <br /> <br />Att. Lyons reported contract would run 20 yrs. based on an annual minimum <br />monetary determination. <br /> <br />Mr. Hovenmeyer reported reimbursement to the Village based on the first <br />4,000,000 kilowatt hours was agreeable. <br /> <br />Att. Lyons reported Village would be reimbursed a~ a rate of 5~ of gross <br />income from the first 4,000,000 kilowatt hours; 15~ from the next 2,000)000 <br />kilowatt hours and 20~ from the remaining kilowatt hours. <br /> <br />Att. Lyons and Att. Reilly to confer and draw up a proposed contract and <br />report back to the Village Board and Mr. Hovenmeyer and his associates. <br /> <br />MeetinG adjourned 8:45 P.M. <br /> <br />Eeo D.
