/? The regular ~eeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Oct. at 7:30 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. 1978 Present: MaYOr Synnett, Tro Dolan~ Tr. Al£onso, Tr. Lawrence~ Tr. Silvestrt, T~. $chinella, Tr. DiGregorio and Atty. Lyons. ~ayor Synne~t requested a moment of silent prayer be observed in memory of Frederick Smith, former County Clerk, who recently passed away. Minutes: Minutes of the last regular ~eeting of the Village Board held g-13,78 had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. Alfonso that the above minutes be accepted as written. Carri~do Agenda: Action on Water Rates: Chalr~an Catalano reported the following resolution was previously presented to the Village Boards Resolved that the water rents or charges for water used and consumed by customers of the Village system sha11~ as of the effective date hereof., be as £ollows: 1. That the base rate for individual residential owners and for each apartment connected to the system shall be $9.00 a quarter, 2. The base rate for coamercial users shall ~a~. $18.00 a quarter. 3. In addition to such base rate, all users shall pa~ for water used or consumed at the following rates: .70 per 100 cu. ft. up to $,000 cu. ft. .7S ' 5,001 to 10,000 cu. ft. .80 ' 10,001 to 20,000 cu. ft. ;85 " 20,001 to 40~000 cu. ft, .90 ' 40,001 & over The base rate for outside village users shall be $11.65 a quarter. Rates for~water consumed shall star~ at $.95/100 cu. ft. 5. Non-profit organizations shall, be b~lled as non-commercial users. AND BB IT FUrTHeR R~SOLVBD that this r~solutlon shall be submitted to the ~oard of Trustees of the Village of ~appingers Falls at their regular ~eetin9 on September 13, 1978, for final approval.
