An informational meeting was held on 1-18-79 at 7:30 P.M. in the American <br />Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett, Tr. Dolan, Tr. Alfonso, Tr. Silvestri, Tr. $chinella, <br />Tr. DiGreporio, Atty. Lyons, Water Chairman Catalano and Water Commissioner <br />Chase. <br /> <br />Purpose of t~e meeting was to discuss the possibil£ty of providing seWer <br />water service for the Myers Corners Development Corp. which is located <br />outside of the Village. <br /> <br />Present for the Corp.: Vincent ~rancato, Eng. Russ~ Atty. Albert Roberts <br />and Architect Robert Levine. <br /> <br />Mr. Roberts reported two major tenants at the locatlon would be Walbaum*s <br />and Channel Home Improvement along with 10 to 14 smaller stores. <br />He requested water and sewer service from the Village for the Complex. <br /> <br />Eng, Russ reported there would be a limited flow with an average of <br />6,000 gals. per day with a maximum of 10,OO0 gals per day. <br />He stated there would be a pressure problem and a booster system would <br />be needed. <br /> <br />Mr. Levine reported a laundromat was not conducive for this area. <br /> <br />Water Chairman Catalano reported site plans will have to be reviewed <br />before any decisions are made. <br /> e <br />Mr. Russ reported that, ~ing the property is not in the Village~ they <br />would need a contract granting permission to tie in. <br /> <br />Tr. Alfonso'inquired as to a booster system and Mr. Russ reported there <br />was no problem with the flow and they would install an on site system. <br /> <br />Mr. Catalano suggested an in line pressure pump being installed in the <br />Village line. <br /> <br />Mr. Levine reported complex is right on the border and will serve both <br />the Town ~ Village and they will need booster pumps. <br /> <br />Mr. Russ stated Walbaum's will maintain a pump station and they were <br />agreeable to a holding tank. <br /> <br />Tr. Alfonso reported he would like to see site plans first. <br /> <br />Tr. DiGregorio inquired as to how many businessess were involved and <br />Mr. Russ replied possibly 10 to 12 tenants. <br /> <br />Mr. Levine reported all plans have been approved and they needed dir- <br />ection as to procedure. <br /> <br /> <br />
