An informational meeting was held on 2-6-79 concerning a request from <br />Myers Corners Development Corp. for the extension of Village's sewer and <br />water at 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett, Tr. Dolan, Tr. Alfonso, Tr. Lawrence, Tr. <br />$ilvestri, Tr. DiGregorio, Water Chairman Catalano and Water Comm. <br />Berinato. <br /> <br />Present for Myers Corners Development Corp.: Eng. Kenneth Russ, <br />Aaron Molinsky, Robert Levine, Atty. Albert Roberts, Vincent Brancato <br />and Town Supervisor Louis Diehl. <br /> <br />Mayor Slrnnett reported an expression of intent would have to be established <br />based on approval from D.C. Health Dept. He stated approval for water <br />would be a seperate entity. <br /> <br />Mr. Catalano inquired as to how the meters would be laid out and Mr. Russ <br />replied they had plans for the water layout which included a pump station. <br />He stated they could either go individually or with a master meter. <br /> <br />Mr. Russ reported complete installation and ~intenance of the sewer <br />would be done on their property. He reported it would be understood <br />in The agreement that the water stub could be used to service other <br />properties in the Village as well as the sewer connections. <br /> <br />Mr. Russ reported a pumping station would be needed for the sewer with <br />a holding tank and hours of pumping would be delegated by the Village. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett reported Village was interested in offering sewer and water. <br /> <br />Mr. Russ reported they would do some work to boost water pressure along <br />Rte. 9 if the Village told them what they wanted and where they needed it. <br />He stated they were in agreement to pay the same sewer rates as the Town <br />of Poughkeepsie. <br />Mr. Russ reported water pressure would have to coincide with that of <br />the sprinkler systems in the buildings. He stated plans for the sewer <br />should be had within 10 days. <br /> <br />Mr. Roberts stated they would like a resolution~ subject to D.C. Health <br />approval, indicating Vtllage~s willingness to provide sewer and water' <br />by 3-1-7g. <br />He stated they were under contract to purchase property and time was a <br />factor. <br /> <br />Tr. Alfonso reported Water 8. has verbally agreed to provide water. <br /> <br />Issue to be taken up at the next regular meeting of the Village Board on <br />2-14-79. <br /> <br />Meeting closed 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> <br />
