Aspectal .meeting of the Village Board was held on June 26, 1979 at <br />7~30 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett, Tr. Dolan, Tr. Alfonso, Tr. Lawrence, Tr. Silvestri, <br />Tr. DiGregorto~ Tr. ¥iglotti & Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Mr. Hallock~ VFW Co--~ander, discussed the reasons why there was no <br />parade on Mamorial Day. He assured the Board that, in the future, <br />would be different. <br /> <br />things <br /> <br />May~r Synnett discussed property Village owned on Cotta~ Mill which <br />comprised 6.9 acres. He recommended having property surveyed, appraised <br />and possibly sell same to assist the Water Dept. financially. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported Village could sell property if it was no longer <br />9cod fox muninipal use. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Silvestri, seconded by Tr. Alfonso that the Village engage <br />the firm of Paggt & Martin to survey the above mentioned property at <br />a cost not to exceed $1,000. Carried. <br /> <br />Water Chairman Catalano discussed a possible change to Water ordinances <br />regarding water tape. He stated change would cause the Water Dept. <br />to bear the expense from the tap to the property line rather than the <br />curb. <br /> <br />Village Board recommended ordinance stay as is. <br /> <br />~otion by Tr. Silvestri, seconded by Tr. Viglotti that authorization <br />be given to microfilm the old Village & Water minute books. Carried. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported a resolution should be adopted terminating John <br />Satterfield's salary as of 6-29-79 and adopt:a policy whereby Compensatioa <br />Cases would go the Insuznace Carrier after the first 7 days. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Alfonso, seconded by Tr. Lawrence that the above resolution <br />be adopted. Carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett appointed Trustees Viglotti & Alfonso to serve on c_--mittee <br />to revise the Employee Benefit Plan. <br /> <br />MayOr Synnett requested permission to have a small celebration' at the <br />occasion of the Little League play offs. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lawrence, seconded by Tr. Silvestrt that permission be <br />granted above request. Carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Synuett discussed gasoline notices which have been filed with Civil <br />Defense. <br /> <br /> <br />
