The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on <br />July 11, 1979 at 7:30 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett~ Tr. Dolan~ Tr. ~l£onso~ Tr. Lawrences <br />Tr. $ilvestri, Tr. DiGregorio, Tr. Viglotti and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett asked that a moment of silent prayer be observed <br />for the 3 Village Firemen who recently passed away. <br /> <br />Mi~u.tes:. <br />Minutes of a Public Hg. and the regular meeting held June 13, 1979 <br />had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lawrence~ seconded by Tr. $ilvestri that the above <br />minutes be accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Costmunieations: <br />Vzllage Justzce Mann~s report for June was read showing a total <br />of $566.00 collected in fines and Acting Justice Chasers report <br />for June showing a total of $10.00 collected in fines. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. $ilvestri, seconded by Tr. DiGregorio that the above <br />reports be accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter read from Mrs. Elizabeth Devine~ President-Community Services <br />Program, Inc.~ 5 Givans Ave.~ reporting sidewalks in front of the <br />building were in need o~ repair. She also reports more adequate <br />ligh,ting is needed. Copies forwarded Public Works and Blectrlc <br />Light Committees for recommendations. <br /> <br />Letter read from Robert Sears~ Chairman-Solid Waste Agency~ repottin!~ <br />the President of Consumat, Inc., will give a presentation on the <br />Consumat program on Thursday, July 19, 197g at 7:30 P.M. in the <br />Chambers of the D.C. Legislature. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett stated Tr. DiGregorio will follo~ up on this. <br /> <br />Letter read fr~a Norman Ferllng, Park Chairman, reporting the <br />humidifier on the main furnace was inoperable and unrepairable. <br />He attaches proposal for the installation of a new one at $240.00 <br />the amount which was not allocatted in this year~s budget. <br /> <br />It was the decision of the Board that there were su~ficient funds <br />in the Park budget for this purchase and Mayor Synnett requested <br />a list of all the vandelism which has occurred in the Park. <br /> <br />Zoning Officer,s report for June was read shc~ing a total of $205.00 <br />collected tn fees. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Alfonso~ seconded by Tr. DiGregorio that the above <br />report be accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
