The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />March 12, 1980 at 7:30 ~.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Synnett, Tr. Dolan, Tr. Alfonso, Tr. Lawrence, Tr. Silvestri, <br />Tr. DiGregorio, Tr. Viglotti, Atty. Lyons and Treasurer Campilii. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett requested a moment of silent prayer in memory o£ Assemblyma~ <br />Emeel Betros who recently passed away. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting held <br />previously presented ~o Board members. <br /> <br />2-13-80 had ~een duplicated and <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Lamrence~ seconded by Tr. Alfonso that the above minutes be <br />accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Agenda: <br /> <br />Set dates fo~ review of budget ~equests: <br />It was recommended that Treasurer Campilii set the dates and the Village <br />Board would meet to review same. <br /> <br />Set date fo~ preliminary hearing on Revenue shariqg: <br />Atty. Lyons reported that, in order for Village to maintain its eligibility <br />for Revenue funds, 2 Public Hearings must be held on the use of funds. <br />He stated preliminary hearing~ which is conducted by the Budget Officer~ <br />will allow the public to comment on proposed use~ of the funds. <br /> <br />mublic Hg. scheduled for March 24, 1980 at 7:30 P.M. in the American Legion <br />Hall. <br /> <br />Set date for Public Hearing on preliminary budget: <br />Public Hg. scheduled for 4-15-80 at 7:30 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Action on bids for Police Car: <br />Village Clerk reported 3 bids for the sale of a 1972 Plymouth Police vehicle <br />were publicly opened and read on 2-22-80, and are as follows: <br /> <br />2. Thomas Coughlin <br />3. John Calsi <br /> <br />$200.00 <br />$125.OO <br />$460.00 <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Silvestri, seconded by ~r. DiGregorio that the high bid be <br />accepted from Mr. Calsi. Carried. <br /> <br />R~-appoint Registrar of Vital Statistics: <br />Motion blds~r. Alfonso, seconded by Tr. DiGregorio that Elaine Snowden be <br />appointed to the above position. Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
