The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />Februa'~y 10, 19~3 at 7:30 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hinzmann, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Shay, Tr. Bain, Tr. <br />Usavich and Atty. Viglotti. <br />Absent: Tr. Kcmornik. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />Minutes of the last regular m~ee~ng of the Village Board of Trustees held ,-. <br />1-13-93 and a~ Ptlblic Hearing b~ld the same date had ~c~n previously duplicated <br />and presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDcmizio, seconded by Tr. Shay that the above minutes be accepted <br />as written. ~Carried. <br /> <br />Resolutic~ Accepting Account of <br /> Unpaid Taxes <br /> <br />~Motion by Tr. D~zio, seconded by Tr. Bain; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Village Treasurer has delivered ~o this Board of TruStees a <br />an account of unpaid Village Taxes as of February 1, 1993, together with a <br />verified statement that the taxes mentioD~d in such account remained unpaid, <br />and that she has been unable to cc]lect the same, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees has ccmpared the account with tb~ original <br />tax roll, andhas found the same to be a true transcript, <br /> <br /> NOW, THERS~ORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a certificate shall be executed by the <br />members of this Board reciting that the account has ~ c~mpared and found to <br />be correct; that such certificate shall be attached to said account, and shall <br />state the total amount of taxes unpaid tt be in the stun of $268,998.82; tb~t <br />all of the foregoing facts, tcgether with this resolutic~, shall be included <br />in the official minutes of the precc~ings of this Board and that the ~ax roll <br />and warrant sba] 1 then be filed in the offices of the Village Clerk, wb~re a <br />copy of such roll shall be permanently re~ned as a public record. <br /> <br />The foregoing resolution was unanimously adopted. Carried. <br /> <br />~f~t for Accounting services: (Georger & Bucelot) <br /> <br />Tr. Bain reported this service b~d previously been clarified verbally and service <br />would include _updating of the Treasurer's books, implementing State ccounting <br />format and provide us with transition data for additional accounting services. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Shay that the proposal outlined in their letter of 12-28-92, he <br />approved, seconded by Tr. Usavich and Carried. <br /> <br />(Text of proposal follows minutes of thsi meetJ_ng.) <br /> <br />Discussion on proposed water rate increase: <br /> <br />Tr. Bain reported tbmt for the past several years, expenses for water product- <br />ion has exc^~ed revenness and the Water Department has, on several occasions, <br />floated bends for several major expenses. <br /> <br /> <br />
