plan was approved and the owners were informed if the third floor was to be <br />occupied they would have to obtain a parking variance. The ownes went to the <br />ZBA and obtained the variance they needed. (copy of variance is on file in the <br />Planning/Zoning offices). It was stated that access to the third floor is from the <br />rear. It was stated that if and when tenancy changes (this was a condition of the <br />original site plan approval) the owners would have to come back to the Planning <br />Board to discuss the parking issues. Mr. McCormick made a motion to approve <br />the Rennhacks using the third floor for office space for their swimming pool <br />business, seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carried. Mr. Cappelli was <br />instructed to inform the Rennhacks that they would have to apply to the Code <br />Enforcement Officer for a Certificate of Occupancy for the office space. <br /> <br />ROSA MERCHAN FOR A HOT DOG TRUCK AT 1615 ROUTE 9 <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal from Rosa Merchan to have a hot dog <br />truck in the parking lot of Associated Carpet at 1615 Route 9. Ms. Merchan <br />stated she is requesting a hot dog wagon. It will come with her each day and <br />leave with her each day. She also stated that if she has a table and chair - she <br />would also bring it in everyday and take it home everyday. Everything is self <br />contained. There would be no power or water being used. They would be <br />operating 6 days a week (Monday through Saturday) from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. <br />They would be located in the northern most part of the parking lot - where the <br />former fruit stand was located. they would also not be using Associated Carpet's <br />dumpster - they would remove all their own garbage each day. It was stated that <br />she has applied for her Peddler's Permit with the Village and is awaiting <br />approval. The Village would also need a copy of the Health Department's permit. <br />Mr. Kocan asked about the power and Ms. Merchan answered they have their <br />own generator - Mr. Kocan was concerned about the noise of the generator and <br />Mr. Morris suggested that the applicant put the trailer as far away from the <br />residences as possible. Mr. Morris also asked Code Enforcement Officer Fenton <br />to check the noise level of the generator when it was running for conformance to <br />the noise ordinance. Mr. Morris informed Ms. Merchan if she wanted a sign she <br />would have to apply to the Planning Board for approval and if she wanted a <br />temporary sign - she would have to see the Code Enfocement Officer. Mr. <br />Kocan asked if they were going to have additional employees and Ms. Merchan <br />answered no she was not - Mr. Morris informed applicant if she ever wanted to <br />have employees they would have to come back to the Planning Board to update <br />the Board. Mr. Moran made a motion to approve the hot dog truck contingent <br />upon: (1) applicant receiving his Peddler's Permit from the village, (2) A copy of <br />the approval from the Health Dept. being on file in the Planning/Zoning Offices, <br />(3) Compliance to the Noise Ordinance (regarding generator) and (4) nosigns <br />unless they go through the Code Enforcement Officer. Motion was seconded by <br />Mr. McCormick. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />LOU SNELL, MCKINLEY STREET <br />Next on the agneda was the proosal from Lou Snell to reposition the fire hydrant <br />on his McKinley Street property.
