Mr. Oscar Nieves was representing Mr. Barros. He referred to Mr. <br />Paggi’s letter dated March 3, 2009 and stated that the spray booth is located to the Nelson <br />Avenue side of the property, the ducting material shall be 18 gauge for 12” in diameter, a <br />fire suppression system w/a 4.5 gals. Tank and heat sensors shall be installed around <br />spray booth, air intake is located on the Nelson Avenue side, the noise emitted by spray <br />booth shall be reduced by about 50% resulting from installation of wall insulation at <br />spray booth room and 2 layers of gypsum board, VOC’s shall be absorbed by <br />constructing the VOCs absorbing box as shown on attached document - (Mr. Paggi stated <br />he has reviewed this statement and reported on it in his letter dated April 27, 2009), the <br />business owner shall not use more than 25 gallons/month of combined listed products; <br />moreover the owner shall replace all filters and absorbing material used for VOC’s <br />treatment before reaching saturation - such used material shall be disposed of by <br />contracting with a disposal company licensed to conduct this business in the state of New <br />York - Mr. Morris asked for a copy of the aforementioned contract for our files), owner <br />shall store chemicals used for spraying in the described approved cabinet and agree to let <br />Village of Wappingers Falls inspectors conduct regular inspections in the premises object <br />of this application and a New York State business registration application with the DEC <br />has been prepared and submitted. Mr. Paggi stated if all of the above conditions are met - he has no <br />objection. Mr. Morris asked Ms. Greig if she had any further comments and she stated <br />no she did not. Ms. DiPolito stated she felt someone should look at the vent coming out <br />of the roof - she stated she felt it was too close to the roof.
