Minutes following the 5/09/12 Village Board Meeting Legal Notice PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF REGARDING THE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM ANNUAL REPORT PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to rules and regulations governing the STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PROGRAM ANNUAL REPORT for the past year , the Board of Trustees and Stormwater Coordinator of the Village of Wappingers Falls will hold an Public Hearing at the Village Office in the American Legion Hall, 7 Spring th Street in said Village on the 9 day of May 2012 at 7:00 PM. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to provide for public participation and comments in reference to status of objectives for 2012 and to obtain the views of residents on community stormwater runoff concerns. At the scheduled Public Hearing, any interested person or party will be offered an opportunity to be heard, or to submit a written statement. John M. Karge RMC, CMC Village Clerk April 11, 2012 Wappingers Falls, NY Mayor Alexander opened the public hearing turning it over to the MS-4 Coordinator, Village Clerk John M. Karge. Mr. Karge said Mr. Patrick Keenan of Contech will present and discuss the functionality of the Vortech Units placed along Rte. 9 North and South of the Rte.9 Bridge. Upon the completion of Mr. Keenan’s presentation Mr. Karge presented the board and public with some details of the 2011 -2012 goals which were established the previous reporting period. Mr. Karge said the MS-4 permit required a public Hearing be held prior to submitting the annual report which must be accompanied by the Mayor’s signature. Mr. Karge summarized all the efforts put forth by the SMO ( Zoning Enforcement Officer) and DPW. Mr. Karge asked the Board and Public if they had questions. None replied.
