<br />Minutes following the 6/13/12 Village Board Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />LEGAL NOTICE <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS <br />“Continuation” <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN <br /> that the Board of Trustees of the Village of <br />th <br />Wappingers Falls will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on the 11 day of April, 2012, at <br />7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 7 Spring Street, Wappingers Falls, New York, at <br />which time all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard as to <br />whether the Board of Trustees of the Village of Wappingers Falls shall adopt a proposed <br />Local Law entitled "Local Law No. 5 of the Year 2012, Amending Chapter A154-1 <br />entitled “Fees” of the Code of the Village of Wappingers Falls.” <br /> <br />that the purpose and intent of the proposed <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE <br /> <br />Local Law is to Amend Chapter A154-1 entitled “Fees”, of the Code of the Village of <br />Wappingers Falls, more specifically, the Fire Department Fee charged at the time of <br />application of zoning permit. <br /> <br /> <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE <br /> that a copy of the proposed Local Law is <br />available for review and inspection at the Office of the Village Clerk on weekdays from <br />8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Village Hall, 2628 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, New <br />York. <br />Dated: March 20, 2012 <br /> <br /> BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br /> OF THE VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS <br /> <br /> <br /> JOHN KARGE, VILLAGE CLERK <br /> <br />Mayor Alexander opened the Public Hearing asking the Village Attorney to explain. <br />Attorney Viglotti explained that the intent was to have fire fees in line with state <br />regulations. The Fire Chief would assess the amount of fees to be charged for <br />subdivisions based on the complexity of the project, a minimum charge would be <br />$200.00. If the project were to consist of an apartment the charge would be likely less <br />than a subdivision of 50 units etcetera. Mayor Alexander asked the Board if they had <br />comments, none replied. Mayor Alexander asked the public if they had comments, none <br />replied. Motion by Trustee Alfonso to close the hearing.
