<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Minutes following the 05/08/2013 Village Board Meeting <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MMVILLAGEBOARD <br />Welcome to the REGULAR of the <br /> EETINGAYOR AND OF <br /> <br />T <br /> today Wednesday, May 8, 2013 <br />RUSTEES <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br />LEGAL NOTICE <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING <br />VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS <br /> <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN <br /> that the Board of Trustees of the Village of <br />th <br />Wappingers Falls will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on the 8 day of May, 2013, at <br />7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 7 Spring Street, Wappingers Falls, New York, at <br />which time all parties in interest and citizens shall have an opportunity to be heard as to <br />whether the Board of Trustees of the Village of Wappingers Falls shall adopt a proposed <br />Local Law entitled " Local Law amending Chapter 47 Article 1 (DOGS) of the Village <br />Code of the Village of Wappingers Falls" <br /> <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE <br /> that the purpose and intent of the proposed <br />Local Law is to Amend Article 47 of the Code of the Village of Wappingers Falls. <br /> <br />PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE <br /> that a copy of the proposed Local Law is <br />available for review and inspection at the Office of the Village Clerk on weekdays from <br />8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the Village Hall, 2628 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, New <br />York. <br />Dated: April 16, 2013 <br /> BY ORDER OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES <br /> OF THE VILLAGE OF WAPPINGERS FALLS <br /> <br /> <br /> JOHN KARGE, VILLAGE CLERK <br /> <br />Mayor Alexander opened the public hearing stating Section 47-5 of the Code of The <br />Village of Wappingers Falls shall be amended so as to include the following <br />subparagraphs: <br /> <br /> H) Defecate on any property not titled to the dog owner or upon which the <br />dog owner has a tenancy, unless said dog owner immediately removes said waste. <br /> <br />I) Enter or remain in any fenced area or children’s playground located <br />within a Village park or recreation center. <br /> <br /> All other portions of section 47-5 shall remain unchanged. <br /> <br />Mayor Alexander asked the board and public if they had any comments or concerns, none <br />replied. <br /> <br />Page 1 of 6 <br /> <br />
