Village Organizational Meeting April 4th, 2016 Minutes following the 4/04/2016 Reorganization Meeting Pledge of Allegiance. PUBLIC HEARING Legal Notice NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the tentative budget for the Village of Wappingers Falls, Dutchess County, New York, for the fiscal year 2016-2017 has been completed and is filed with the Village Clerk of said Village, 2582 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, New York, where the same may be inspected by any interested person during the regular hours of the business day, from the date of publication of this notice to the date of Public Hearing on said budget. NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Wappingers Falls, New York, will conduct a Public Hearing at the Village Hall, 2582 South Avenue, Wappingers Falls, New York on the 4th of April, 2016 at 7: 30 P.M. to review said budget and any person may be heard in favor or against on any item therein contained. In summary total appropriations for the fiscal year 2016-2017 are $4,915,273.00. Pursuant to Village Law, Section 5-509, notice is further given that the compensation to be paid to the Mayor and each member of the Board of Trustees as follows: Mayor: $38, 600.00 Trustee: $7,440.00 John M. Karge Village Clerk Dated 3/22/16 Village of Wappingers Falls, N.Y. Mayor Alexander turned the hearing over to Village Treasurer Brown. Ms. Brown reviewed the tentative budget in detail with all in attendance. Mayor Alexander asked if there were any questions from the board or public. None replied. At this point the budget workshop meetings were determined as below.
