Miscellaneous meeting of the Village Bd. of-Trustees was held on Wed., Jan.~ <br />28, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari~ Tr. Valentino~ Tr. <br />and Atty. Lyons. <br />Those absent: Tr. DiDomizio and Tr. Cheetham. <br /> <br />Bain, Tr. Fries, Tr. Hoolihan, <br /> <br />Minutes of regular Village Bd. meeting held on 12/10/69 had been duplicated <br />& previously presented to Bd. members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Fries, Seconded by Tr. Bain that the above minutes'be accepted <br />as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Petitions: None. <br /> <br />Communications: <br /> <br />Letter was read from N.Y.S. Dept. of Transportation reporting they will give <br />The Village complete cooperation with the enforcement of the No Standing <br />regulation on Rte. 9. <br />Copy to be forwarded Ordinance Comm. and original filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from S.W. Johnson Engine Co. reporting Robert Lawten and <br />Anthony DeMeo were elected members of their company, the latter being elected <br />an Honorary member, <br />Motion by Tr. Bain, seconded by Tr. Hoolihan that the above'action be approved. <br />Carried, <br /> <br />Letter was read frc~ Engineer Chmzen reporting he made inspection of Mesier <br />Homestead. He rep?fred finding considerable dry rot in the beams located in <br />center of buildin9~ part of the ~ collapsed and the front porch overloaded <br />with snow, He recommended immediate action be taken to remove snow from' porch <br />and shoring of beams. <br />Copy of letter forwarded Park Comm, and a copy to be forwarded Mr. Haubennestel. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Town of PQughkeepsie Supervisor Schueler~ reporting that <br />the Animal Warden would respond to the Village Police Dept. in cases of an <br />emergency. He states the Town Bd. would entertain Animal Warden coverage <br />for the Village by conlract for-the remainder of 1970 and by budget for 1971 <br />at a minimal cost to the Village. <br />Mayor Furnari reported animal Warden will not come in on private property. <br />Letter filed. <br /> <br />Copy of a letter was read from Mr. John-Haubennestel to Atty. Lyons in reference <br />to interroga~orles pertaining to certain properties within the Village. He <br />states copies of interrogatories and replies to the portions of same were <br />handed the Village Clerk and Village Treasurer on Oct. 15. 1969 with a re- <br />quest that his office be furnished with one copy of the answers prepared by <br />them in order to complete the file on the subject. He reports to date he has <br />received no such information. Filed. <br /> <br />_Copy of a letter was read from Attyo Lyons to Mr. John Haubennestel in reply <br />to his inquiry regarding interrogatories in the above referenced matter.
