Miscellaneous meeting of the Village Bd. of Trustees was held on Wed., Feb. <br />25, 1970 at 8:00 P.M. in.the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Valentine, Tr. Fries, Tr. <br />Bain, Tr. Cheetham, Tr. Hoolihan and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Repqrt on Gorin~ Place <br />Tr. Valentine reported checking area and street was plowed off of road on one <br />side. <br />He reported one area of road was 18' wide. <br />Tr. Valentine stated he would contact engineer to measure width of road and <br />there was a need of a drain sewer and curbing. <br />He recommended survey be made when snow is gone i~ ~relatlon to property lines. <br /> <br />Mrs. Durkin and Mrs. Farrell present from Goring St. area. <br /> <br />Tr. ~iDomizio inquired of survey is made when street is dedicated and Atty. <br />Lyons replied not usually. <br /> <br />Communications <br />Card of Appreciation was read from Che family of Anne P. Roche (John & Pat <br />Cheetham). Filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Jack Feeney, 14 Brown Ave., reporting his water shut <br />off broke by Village plow during last snow storm. Copy of letter forwarded <br />insurance carrier. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Michael P. Ranco, Creek'Rd., Wappingers Falls, N. Y.~ <br />reporting he is interested in becoming a Police Officer and for the present <br />time would like to be employed as a Desk Clerk. He is recently discharged <br />from the Marine Cor~. <br />Request turned over to Capt. Costa for his recommendation in Writing. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Village Justice Fred V. Damanda reporting he would not <br />seek office in the forthcoming election and expressed appreciation to the <br />Village Bd., Police Dept.~ and Village Clerk for their help and assistance <br />during his stay in office. <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio~ seconded by T~. Bain that the above letter be accepted. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Office of Planning Coordination reporting Village share <br />in the Urban Planning Assistance Project N.Y.P.-82 is now due. Local agency <br />share $4,293.94. <br />Atty. Lyons to report at next regular meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizioj seconded by T~. Bain that the Mayor be ~utheri~ed <br />to sign a Proclamation announcing the week of March 8 through March 14 as Girl <br />Scout Week in the Village. Carried. <br /> <br />Copy of a letter was read from Mr. John Haubennestel to Plannihg Bd., C~air- <br />man, Normao Breault,.forwarding that Board a copy of request of Wenliss Park <br />Real~y Co., Inc. for a change in the present zoning of a parcel of land loc- <br />ated between Oak Park~ the Williams property and Wenlis$ Park Realty Co., Inc. <br />from 2-3-4 Family Residential under present Zoning Ord. to Multi Family Res- <br />i~entlal. He requests they review this matter and make recommendations. Filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
