Regular meeting of the Village Bd. of Trustees was held on Wed., April <br />1970 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnarl, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Valentino~ Tr. Bain~ Tr, <br />Synnett, Tr. McCluskey, and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Minutes' of last regular Village Bd. meeting had been.duplicated and pre- <br />viously presented to Board members, ' <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio~ seconded by ~r. Bain'tHat the above minutes be <br />accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Synnett~ seconded by Tr, Valentino that meeting go out of the <br />regular order of business. C~rrled. <br /> <br />Mr. Calhoun and Mr. Carlin~ representatives of U,S. Cable~islon, present at <br />meeting. . - <br /> <br />Tr. Dipomizio, reported he has been getting calls as to poor reception of <br />cablevision and recommended CATV Grievance Comm. be initiated in an effort <br />to solv~ problems. <br /> <br />Mr. Calhoun reported they have encountered some problems~ but signal and <br />services have been improved. <br />He suggested any complaints received be called ihto his office and same ~ould <br />be inuesti~ated. <br />Mr. Calhoun expressed his cooperation ss to the initiation of the CATV <br />committee. <br /> <br />Arty. Lyons repo~ted committee was originally mmde part of the contract with <br />Highway Displays, Inc., as the Villzge Bd. foresaw u~com~ng complaints and <br />were anxious to have good service. <br />He stated committee was to be formed at the time of execution o~ contract, <br />Mr. Lyons reported one of the conditions set forth in the resolution for- <br />warded U.S. Cablevision ~n August was the ~nlatibn of a ~%TV Comm, <br /> <br />A~ty. Lyons stated performance bond has not been receivied as yet and Mr, <br />Carlin replied same should be had within a couple of days. <br /> <br />Mr. Calhou~ reported he will take action on the CATV Comm. prio~ to 4/22/70 <br />meeting of the Village Bdo <br /> <br />Discussion followed on problems incurred with CATV. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDomizio inquired as to status of local'channel 12 and Mr. Calhoun <br />plied same should bein operation very shortly. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Bain, seconded by Tr. McCluskey that meetin~ return to regular <br />order of business. Carried. <br /> <br />Petitions: None. <br /> <br />~r~unic~tions: ,. <br />Letter was. read from Mr. Ken Jennings reporting Little League seamon will open <br />May 2, 1970 and requests permlsssion to parade from Mesier Park to St. Mary's <br />~ield. <br /> <br /> <br />
