Miscellaneous meeting of the Village Bd. of Trustees was held on Wed., June 24~ 1970, Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. DiDomizio~ Tr. Valentino~ Tr, Bain, Synnett, Tr. Hoollhan~ Tr. M¢Cluskey and Arty. Lyons, Minutes of'Miscellaneous meeting held 5/27/70 had been duplicated and pre- viously ~resented to Board members. Motion by Tr. McCluskey, seconded by Tr. Valentino that above minutes be accepted as written. Carried, Petiti6ns: None. Ami. - $550.00. Motion by Tr,'Bain, seconded by Tr. DiDomizio that action on above estimate be tabled~ Carried, Letter was read from Wild'am Urey, 14 Adams St.~ reporting his water shut off broken by Village plow last winter. Copy of letter forwarded insurance agent~ Letter was read from D.C. ~ep. Robert L~Archevesque, ~epor~ing Junk Car pro~ gram will be operational 7/1/70. .He gives details as to how program should be started. Copy to be forwarded Ordinance and Sewer and Sanitation Comm. Letter was read from Edwar~ V.K. Cunningham, Jr~ Arty. at Law, with attached resoluti~ which w6uld amend joint landfill agreement allowing Town of La Grange to participate. ~ESOLUTION WHEREAS, the Town of La~ange 'has requested that the City of Poughkeepsie~ together with the Town of Pou~keepsie~ To~n of Wappinger~ and Village of Wappingers Falls amend the Joiht Sanitary Land~ill Agreement dated January 19~ 1970, ~o allow the lantlfill operation, all pursuant to Article 5G nf the General Municipal Law of the State of New York~ NOW, THEREFORE, be it RBSOLVED, by the Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Wappingers Falls that the Mayor shall be and he is hereby authorized to execute an amendment to said agreement~ between the incorporated Village of applngers W ' Falls~ the Town of Wappinger, the Town of Poughkeepsie~ and the City of Poughkeepsie dated January 19, 1970~ which amendment shall allow the Town of LaGrange to participate in and join the said joint sanitary landfill oper- ation on the same terms and conditions as the other~municipalities and muni- cipal corporations which are parties thereto, Motion by°Tr. McCluskey, seconded by Tr. Bain that the above res61ution be adopted,, pending approval of Sewer and Sanitation Comm. Carried. Letter was read from Albert W. Garrigan, 30 Brian Rd., expressing his inte~st in acquiring a piece o~ property owned by the Village on Cottam Hill Rd. Motion by Tr. MCCluskey, seconded by Tr. Synnett that above request be turned over to the Water Bd. Carrie~,
