Lyons read legal notice of the Public Hg. ns it appeared in the W.&S.D.NewO <br />on 8/6/70. <br /> <br />A~ty. l. yous discus'sod proposed ordinance reporting text and schedales r~maiu uR- <br />changed, but 2 changes have been made on Zoning Map. <br />He reported present ordinsuoe was use -satisfactory and 5 changes were Bade in pro- <br />~ened ordinance following Public Hg. on Oct. 22, 1969 which are as follows; <br /> 1) Minim lOSt sizes in residential areas charged fram. R-9 to R 7.5. <br /> 2) ~ermiuation uf lapse of tine for nofi conforming use extended. <br />3) ~esr portion o~ the Osten property on B~ Main St. rescued from eMI to OB, with <br />exception of access lo9 to ~ensen Ave., which reBaiun single ~amily reeidentlal. <br />4) Williams property on 2. Lyons reported fuamal protests were filed on above properties ad 3/4 IL~fir~--: <br /> staves votes would be needed to adopt ordinance. <br /> <br />Mayor P~ruari reported there were misunderstandings concerning 'municipal, service <br />and felt 'camprouise was to the best interest of the Village. He discussed iucreas* <br />ed tax reveuues and increased municipal costs, stating that a loss would be suffer- <br />ed shOUld these 2 proper$ios be zoned SF~ in-their entirety. <br />Mayor Puruari reported V~llage would be 'obligated to provide services indefi.uitely; <br />should_these properties be soued SFR and ~bether they are zoned residegtial or <br />nits fnnt'ly, Village would be obligated to provide a certain nsuber of services. <br />He Stated compromise would provide less density and discussed uunber of units <br />allowable under co~proniso and present Zoning Ord. <br /> <br />Mayor P~trnsri reported that with the new wetew tank, Village would have sufficient <br />water for ?SOO people and according t~ hgo Kelley, with the reval of it- <br />filtration, smr needs ~ould be sufficient.. <br />He reported Adler and 8renner has been hired for proposed sewer plant a~d EoMeaX <br />o~ infiltration, He s~ated water loops will be eliminated. <br /> <br />Tro McCluskey disc~ssed ~nginenring report on ¥illagets sewer reporting .iofiltrAb <br />tiou problem should be £enovnd as flow in existing se~rs is not known. <br />He' stated sewer lines gu C~inten St. and Helsou Ave. are not adequate and mid <br />not be uutil same are rehabilitated or new ones are instelled. <br /> <br />Tr. Glnskey stated us report has been received oB the adequacy ef the water <br />system and apartments could demand Village services ns they are paying taxes. <br />He reported Police and Fire protection are not up to par. <br /> <br /> <br />
