Meeting held Oct. 20, 1982 at 7:00 a.M. in the American Legion Hall. Present: Mayor'Synnett, Tr. Greco, Tr. Costa, Tr. Mazochi, Tr. Cioppa, Tr. Brown, Atty. Lyons and Engineers Paggi & Martin. Motion by Tr. Costa, seconded by Tr. Cioppa that the Village Atty. be directed to contact Myers Corners Development Corp. to arrange a meeting within 30 days or services will be jeopardized. Carried. ~eport on Wappingers I.ake l~m: Eng. Martin reported that in July, the Village Board authorized request for proposals from two firms. 1. Ti?petts-Abbett-McCarthy-Stratton (TAMS) (Who did phase 1 report). 2. Dams & Moore - They indicated they were not interested in doinq study). He stated another firm inspected the'dam and we had two proposal which comes down to two phases: 1. Detailed study - Structural, water shed. 2. Actual detailed design on dam for improvements. ~ng. Martin reported the following costs for phase 1: 1. Walter B. Sattertbwaite Assoc., Inc. 2. TAMS (Which includes st~surface exploration) $19,0OO. 39,O00. ~n9. Martin reported we would have to spend $31,000. %0 find out what we had to do to repair dam. Mayor Synnett reported tbere was $5,0OO. in budget for a bond. Atty. Lyons reported monies expended for detailed study could be used for actual structural repairs. He stated we alread had a Phase I report submitted by the State. He sug¢3ested contacting the State and outline where monies would be spent to satisfy them. Mayor Synnett suggested someone investigate as to funding and set an appointmen~ with the State. Motion by Tr. Cioppa, seconded by Tr. Costa that a meetin9 be scheduled with a representative of the NYS Dept. of Environmental Conservation, Village engineers and Board members to discuss actual repairs to the dam. Carried. Motion by Tr. Costa, seconded by Tr. Brown that it be the responsibility of the Contractor to provide the steel rings for the manholes in conjunction with the Wenliss Terr.-Stuart Ave. blacktoDping project. Carried.
