Regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />June g, 1971 at 7:30 P.Mo in the Mesier Homestead0 <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnar.i, Tre DiDomizio, Tr. Dolan~ Tr. Bain,' Tre Synnett~ <br />Tre Sullivan and Atty. Lyons. <br />Absent: Tr. McCluskeyo <br /> <br />Petitions: <br /> <br />Minutes! <br />Minutes of the last regular Village Bd. meeting held Ma~ 12, 1971 had been <br />duplicated and previously presented.to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tro Bain, seconded by Tr. DiDomizio that the above minutes be accepted <br />as written. Coxried. <br /> <br />Con~nic!~ions: <br /> <br />Letter was read from Stat~ of 'N.Yo Bxecutive Dept,, Division of the Budgets <br />reporting there were no funds available for the Division of Youth program. Filed, <br /> <br />Letter was read from Division for Local Police reporting Robert Ost has <br />satisfactorily completed the Basic Police training course held 4-5-71 to' <br />5-18-71o <br />Motion b~ Tr. Synnett, seconded by Tr. DiDomizio that a letter of commendafion <br />be forwarded O~ficer Ost. Carried, <br /> <br />Letter was read from Willia~ 6. Crane, Arty. for Mr. & Mrs. Raffaele, advising <br />that they are awaitin~ reimbursement from the Villa~te for $4,435.07 expended <br />by them in correcting a sewer condition caused by the Village. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported above claim was rejected by the Village Bdo and turned <br />over to the Insur&nce agent for processing. <br /> <br />Village Justice Reilly,s report for month of May was read showing a total <br />of $373.00 collected in fines. <br />Motion by Tr. Bain, seconded by Tr. Sullivan that the above report be accepted <br />as read. Carried. <br /> <br />ZOning Rnfforcement Officer's report for month of May was read showing a total <br />o£ $148~00 collected in fees. <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomisio~ seconded by Tr; Synnett that the above ~eport be <br />accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Report was read from Grinnell Library showing the following statistics~ <br />Number of borrowers from the Village - 2,269. <br />Number of volumes loaned to residents of the Village - 19,967. <br />Motion by Tr.
