Regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was heldon Wednesday, <br />Oct. 13, 1.~71 at 7:30 ~'.M. in the Mesler Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. DiDomJzlo, Tr. Dolan, Tr. Rains Tr. Synnett, <br />Tr. McCluskey, Tr. Sullivan and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Bain~ seconded by Tr. Dil)omtzio that meeting UO into Executive <br />Session. Carried. <br /> <br />Executive Session. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr, Sullivan, seconded by Tr. McClnskey that meeting return to <br />regular session. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. McCluskey, seconded by Tr. Sullivan that meeting 9o out of {he <br />regular order of business, Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Harold Myers, Water Dept. Chairman, reported 2 leaks have developed in <br />the water tank on Hillside Ave. He stated this was an emergency measure and <br />b/ds.for repair have been secured. <br />Mr. Myers reported bids have been received from Kessler Co, and the American <br />Tank & Tower Co.. <br />lie stated total price for repairs was hard to determine as there were <br />approximately 10,0OO pits in tank and bid was based on unit price. <br />He determined cost at approximately $12,OO0. <br /> <br />Motion bY Tr. Sullivanj seconded by Tr. McCluskey that, upon recommendations <br />of the Water Rd,, A~erican Tank & Tower Co. be awarded the above bid. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. McCluskey, seconded by 'l'r. Sullivan that meeting return to <br />regular order of business. Carried. <br /> <br />Minutes of the last regular meeting of the Village md. held on Sept. 8, 197] <br />had been duplicated and previously presented to Board me~bers. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomlzloj seconded by Tr. McCluskey that the above minutes <br />be accepted as written. Millis, Hospital Director fo~ Castle Point~ <br />reporting tha~ on Oct, 24~ at 2=00 PoM.t the Veterans Administration <br />Voluntary Service Advisory Cos. is sponsoring the Third Annual Veterans <br />Day Observance at Castle Point. They have scheduled a brie~ ceremony at <br />the ~laqpole with a showing of the colors by color guardss a band, and a <br />placing of wreaths by service organizations. They would be honored if Village <br />officials could attend. <br /> <br /> <br />
