Slmnettt <br /> <br />Kayor Furnari opened neetlng and requested a mosent o2 silent prayer in ~emory <br />of Francis Bains former Water Sd. me,)ers who recently passed away. <br /> <br />Communications: <br />Letter was read from D.C. ~ealth Oept.s with attached inspection reports made <br />at the County Airport Refuse Disposal site. Copies £orwarded PoWo Co~. Filed. <br /> <br />· Letter'was Teed from the S.W. Johnson Engine Co.s reporting Roger Forbus was <br />expelled from the company and Robert Delehanty was appointed Assistant Engineer <br />replaeelng Larry Cuchelo who resigned. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Rynnett, seconded by'Tr. DiDomizio thai the above action be <br />approved. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from N.Y.S. Dept. of Environmental Conservation in reference <br />to Federal construction grant ap~flicatlon for Secondary Tre~tmen~ Plante Copy <br />forwarded Atty. Lyons. <br />Atty. Lyons reported the reason they weren't able to certify grant ap0tieation <br />£or approval was due to no funds. <br />lie stated another coeaunication was received where cettiflcationa were taken <br />away on 45 applications. <br />Atty. Lyons reported they anticipate Federal funds forthconing and they urge <br />the Villaqe to go ahead eith engineering and planning. <br /> <br />Tr. Hollihan inquired if application included T~ns of Nappinger and Poughkeep- <br />sie and Mayor iuznazi replied present plan is to go alone. <br /> <br />l~tters were read from Zoning O£ficer and C~pt. Costa in re:er,ncc to ins~ect- <br />ions made at'Si ~. ~aln St. amd the 6ulf station at corner of W. Main and <br />Clinton ets. <br /> <br />Mr. Haubennestel submitted the l'ollowing in reference to 58 N. Main St.: <br />1. Two cars in driveways one licensed~ one licensed. 2e Considerable debris <br />in front yards car parts~ etc. 3. Numerous articles of debris were located <br />on the roof in the rear shed or lowet portion o£ the house- not only <br />unsigtly~ but possibly could place extra weight on the flat roof o£ the <br />structure~ leadlng to collapse. 4. The yard is Iu11 of bags and articles <br />o£ eiscel~aneous nature. <br />He gave the owner I0 days to clean above premises. <br /> <br />In reference to the Gulf Station, Mr, Haubenneetel outlined numerous let%ers <br />sent to various parties in reference to violations, lie stated the following <br />esists at :he present time: <br /> <br /> <br />
