15',' The regular meeting of t he ¥il. lage .loard o£ Trustees was held on ~adnesday, May 10~ 1972 at 7:00 p.u.. in the Mesior Homestead. Those present: Mayor Furnarip Tr. DiDomiztop Tr. Dolan~ Tr. Tr. Sullivan and Arty. Lyons. Mayor Furnari asked that a moment of silent prayer be observed in memory of the la'tm Harold Myers~ Water Chairman~ who recently passed away. Petitions: None. Minute~: Minutes o£ the Annual ~eeting held April 4, 1972, the regular meeting held April 12, 1972 and the ~ubltc Hd. on the budget held April 14, 1972 had been duplicated and previously given Board members. Motion by Tr. l)iDomizio~ seconded by Tro Sullivan that the above ainu:es be accepted as written. Carried. C~zd o~ppr~ci~tion was read £roa :he lazily of ~arold ~yers. Filed. letter was read £rom ~r. Pat Sperano, requesting permission to address me~tlng. To be taken up later in meeting. ~etter was read from Hz. Charles HcCluskey requesting permission to address meeting concerning lack o£ ~olice protection. To be taken up later in meeting. Letter was zend frmu Mr. Donald [{asbrouck, Osborn Hill Rdo) reporting be had previously applied £or position with the Police Dept. and is still interested in joining ~olice force. ~[e lists backgroudd and qualifications. Motion by Tr. Sullivan, seconded by Tr. Ilain that tbe above letter be turned over to the Police Comm. £or recommendations. Carried. t.etter of Appreciation was read from the reslden~s o£ ¢~k Tr~e Village for use of a truck for clean up. Village Justice Reilly's report £oc month o~ Aprilp 1072 was read sho~ing a total of $912.00 collected in fines. Motion by Tr. Bain. seconded by Tr. Sullivan that the above report be accepted as read. Carried. Letter was read from S,W, Johnson Engine Co. reporting that in conjunction with their ~ntennial~ they are holding a block dance on June 16~ 1972 in ~ront of the Firehouse from 7:00 P.~. to 10:30 P.H. They request School St. be blocked off from W. Main St. :o Roy Ave. for this event. Motion by TF. DiDomizio, seconded by Tr. Bain that the above request be granted. Carried.
