Lyons. <br /> <br />Minutes of the last reoular Village Bdo meetlnO held May 10, 1972 had been <br />duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tz. DiOomizio, seconded by Tr. Bain that the above minutes be <br />accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Petitions: None. <br /> <br />CommuDioations: <br />Villas. Justice Reilly's report fo~ month of May, 1972 was r~ad showing a <br />total of $1,O38.00 collected in iines. <br />.Motion by Ir. DiDomizio, seconded by Tr. Sullivan that the above report be <br />accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Zoning Officer's report /or month of May, 1972 was read showing a total of <br />$160o00 collected in fees. <br />Motion by Tr. Synnett, seconded by Tr. Sullivan that the above report be <br />accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Grinnell t. ibrary submitting the following statistics for <br />the year 6-1-71 to 5-31-72: <br />Number o5 borrowers from the Village - 2,587. <br />Number of volumes loaned to residents of the village - 21,720. <br /> <br />Motion bi Tro Synnett, seconded by Tr. Bain that the above report be accepted. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Wa0pingers Falls Jaycees reporting their annual Orange <br />Crate Derby mill be held on June 17~ lq72 at 9:30 AM. They request the use <br />of High ~t. and cooperation in closing off the section of High St. from <br />Spring St. south. <br />Motion by Tr. Synnett, seconded by Tr. Iloo]ihan that permission be granted <br />above request. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter Was read from Mr. Dave Locke in reference to a problem concerning <br />sewer disposal at lower Market & McKinley Sts. Copy forwarded Public Works <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Synnett, seconded by Tr. Sulllvan that above be re~erred to <br />Public Works Comm. for study. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mrs. Norman Crawfoot, B10, Leewood Arms~ in reference <br />to a broken or leaking sewage pipe draining into a field in that area.
