Regular meeting of the Village ltd. of Tristees was held on Nednesday~ <br />July 12v 1972 at 7:00 P.M. in the Mesler Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Purnari~ Tr. DiDomisio, Tr. Dolau, Tr. Bain, <br />Synnetts Tr. Sullivan, Tr. Hooihan and Atty. Lyons. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Synnett~ seconded by Tr. Sullivan that meeting go into <br />~xecutive Session. Carried. <br /> <br />~otion by Tr, Synnett~ seconded by Tr, Sullivan that =meting return to <br />regular session, Carried, <br /> <br />Minutes of a Public Hd, and the last regular meeting held June 14s 1972 had <br />been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. 5ynnett, seconded by Tro Dolan that the above minutes be <br />accepted as written. Carried, <br /> <br />Communications: <br />Village Justice Reilly's report for month el June was read showing a total of <br />$894,00 collected in lines. <br />Motion by Tr, Itain, seconded by Tr, ~ulllvan that above report be accepted <br />as road. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Gardeski~ Regional Traffic £nglneer~ N.Y.S. I~pt, <br />of Transportation~ to Atty, Lyons~ relative to traffic conditions - Rte, <br />5H1412 at ~ast Main St. lie reports they have reviewed this location to <br />determine if modifications to this signal operation are necessaxy to a sslst <br />pedestrians in crossing Rte, 91)o They feel the present operation of this <br />slgnal aflords ample gaps in the t:afflc £1ow to allow pedestrians to cross <br />sa£ely providing a normal amount o~ caution is exercised. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr, Sullivan, seconded by Tr, Synnett that the Village Atty, be <br />directed to write the State advising them the Village washer satisfied with <br />above survey and to arrange another with the assistance off the Village <br />Carried, <br /> <br />Invitation was read from Troop K~ N.Y,S, Polices to the open house inspect- <br />ion of their new Poughkeepsie Headquarters on Sat., J~ly 15, 1972 between <br />10:00 AM and ~:00 PM. Location - US 44, Filed. <br /> <br />L(~tter was read fTOm N~ Conference of M&yorss in reference to the damage <br />caused by the recent hurrlcans Agnes. They state ther is~ at presents going <br />on is some cities intensive and well organized fund drives designed to <br />obtain funds which will be ,smd by the Mayors in ~he affected communities. <br />They report it is the sincere desire of this association to assist in this <br />important fund raising activity on a state wide basis and request the <br />Village assist also, <br /> <br />Alter lengthy discussion, it was decided to t~le action untilfurther material <br />is received. <br />Motion by Tr..
