The regular meeting of the Mayor and Village Board of <br />Trustees was held on Wednesday, February 13, 2002 at 7:30 PM <br />in the ~nerican Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Ross, Tr. Jutiano, Tr. Cerino, Tm-. Marshall, <br />Tr. Bain, Tr. Davis, .Atty. Vigtotti. <br /> <br />Absent: Tr. Enson, due to illness. <br /> <br />MINUTES: <br /> <br />Minutes of 2 Public hearings and last. regular Village Board <br />meeting held January 9, 2002 had been d~apticated and <br />previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Marshall that above <br />minutes be accepted as wm~i~.ten. Carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTIONS: <br /> <br />PROPOSED RE$OLUTION WHICH WOULD AUTHORIZE VILLAGE TO <br />PARTICIPATE IN FAB PROGRAM, UNTDER CLEAN WATER/CLEAN AiR BOND <br />ACT; PROGPiRM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO <br />DRY CLEANERS TO HELP PAY COST OF COMPLYING WITH NEW STATE <br />REGULATIONS RE~IIRING THE PURCHASE OR b~G~ADE OF E©UIPMENT. <br /> <br />Mr. Visentin said above doesn't re,~.~ire any obligation on the <br />part of the Village and we don't have to check or monitor any <br />equipment; he said we do have to appoint a representative <br />from the Village Zo approve applications. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Davis that the Village <br />Clerk be designated as Village's representative %o verify <br />addresses on any' applications which may be filed. Carx~ied. <br /> <br />Clerk read proposed resolution which follows minutes of <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded !by Tr. Marshall that above <br />resolution be adop'ted. Carried. <br /> <br /> Police Commissioner Capra addressed meeting and said <br /> Department had previously been granted approval to purchase <br />~ a Fibrulator and wanted to thank Fran Don~e!ly, a Police <br /> Assistant, a[nd his wife, Mary Donnelly, a manager at <br /> WatMart's, for acquiring a $1300. grant, which was half the <br /> cost of Fibrulator. <br /> He said he wanted to publicly thank the Donnelly's and <br /> WalMar't for their generous donation towards a piece of <br /> equipment which will be valuable to the Village. <br /> <br /> <br />
