Annual Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Mondays <br />April 2~ 1973 at 8:00 P.P4. in the ~le'.sier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present-' Mayor Synnett, ?r. DiDomizio, Tr. Dcrlan, Tr. Bain~ <br />Tr. Hool/han and Tr, .~elding. <br /> <br />Villaqe Clerk swore in all officers elected at the previous election. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett stated he resigned as Trustee from the Second Ward as of <br />12:OO noon this date and that vacancy cou'ld be £illed this evening. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDo~izio reported appointments of this nature weren": usually done <br />at the Annual meeting but at a regular meeting. <br /> <br />Tr. Dolan reported this appnlntment ~asntt on the agenda for t~his meeting. <br /> <br />Appointments: <br /> <br />Water Commissioner: <br />qotion by ~r. Beldinp, seconded by ~r. Bain tha~ Mr. Johd flerinato be <br />appointed Water Oommissioner for a term of three years. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDomi. zio 'repot:ed '~ater Board was always blpattisan. <br /> <br />Tr. Dolan reported there was always a Republican member on the Wa:er <br />and felt t~is action wasn't righ:o <br /> <br />~otion carried (3 in favor - 2 against). <br /> <br />Actlo9 Village Justice <br />~otion by Tr. I[oolihan, seconded by'Tr. Relding that ~r. Vincent Francese <br />be appoi-,ted Acting Village Justice for & terw'o£ one year. Carried. <br /> <br />~lultipte'R~sldegce Inspector: <br />Tr. Belding recommended the appointment of one enforcement o££icer and <br />two inspectors which would be an aid to the Fire Dept. <br /> <br />l'r. Dolan recommended the appointment of two inspectors be deferred <br />until the next regular meeting as this was the creation of a <br />p~sitio~ and a legal opinion should be had. <br /> <br />qultiple a~sidence Bnforceaent Officer: <br />Motion by Tr. ~eldinu~ seconded by ~r. Bain that Mr. James De:chanty L~ <br />appointed Multipl~ Residende Enforcement (~ficer for a term o£ one year. <br />r3~rried. <br /> <br />Recreation Commission: <br />Motion by Tr. ~ielding, seconded by ~r. Hoolihan that the'foLlowing be <br />appointed to the Recreation Comm.: Raymond Paggi, Tom Retring~ Harrison <br />Freer, James C~ark, Bob Travis, Mite $chinella, Dick Home, Bob ~raver, <br />Start Zdroski and Don Smith.
