Belding and Arty. Lyons, <br /> <br />Mayor Synnett requested a moment of silent preyer be observed in iemory <br />of Petrick ~urnett, former Trustee end Justice, who recently passed <br /> <br />Mr° A~t Weirs Chairman of C~mmunit~ Days addressed meeting concerning <br />proposed program, <br />He at·ted committee was selling chances for · colored television and an <br />oil paintin~ to help with expenses; <br /> <br />Motion by Tr, Del·n, seconded by Tr. Hoolihan thet the VAllnge contribute <br />$$00. ~ toward the above n~ntioned program° C~irfiedo <br /> <br />Mr. Gerard McCluskey, County Representative,'·ddressed meeting ccocerning <br />status of Police ~e~artment. <br />He stated same was slowly disappearing and expressed concern 6vet · recent <br />erticle seeking outside help, <br />Mr. ~cCluskey urged police salaries be brought up to · level mitk other <br />municip·litles. <br /> <br />Minutesc <br />Minutes of · Public Hearin~ and the last regular meeting held June 13, 1973 <br />had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomiaifl, seconded by Tr, Silvestr~ that the Above minutes <br />be eccepted es written, CaFrind, <br /> <br />Village Clerk reported letter sent Mr. ~eFee requesting his presence at <br />meeting to discuss drainage at the proposed South Hills Mall. <br /> <br />Atty. Lyons reported meeting held last Pebruary et which Mr. Keys· was <br />present and three proposal were made. <br />Be stated Board was to discuss proposals with engineer and accopt'on~ but <br />the Board never acted, <br />Arty. Lyons discussed options which celled for the installation of · <br />settlement basin to be meintained by either the Village or the developer, <br />He stated it was the'opinion of the 8osrd that the County should ~a~ntein <br />basin and the engineer was to investigate this option further. <br /> <br />It was the recommendation of the Board that · letter be sent the ~ngincer <br />requesting a progress report o~ the above. <br /> <br />Connunicatious <br />¥illaoe ~ustice ~eilly's r~ort fOr month cf June,'197~ was re·d showing <br />a total of $~40.00 collected in fines. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. D~omieio, seconded by Yr. Bain that the above report be <br />accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
