Regular meeting of the Village Roard of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />Jan. 9, 1974 at 7:'OO P.M. 'in the Americae Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Synnettj Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Dolan, Tr. Bainj Tr. <br />$iivestri~ Tr. Hoolihan, Tr. Seldlng arid Atty. I.yons. <br /> <br />biz. Frank Rasso addressed meeting statin9 he was interested in re-ac:ira:in9 <br />the hydro-electric plant at the Industrial Park. <br />fie requested an extension to the 10 year provision of the contract as he <br />could no longer operate :he raceway afte~ 1977. <br />He stated be has discussed proposal w~th C~ntral Hudson and would'enter into <br />an agreement with Mr. Kaynor. <br /> <br />Tr. Do3an inquired if Mr. Basso knew he could only operate 6 months a year, <br />and he replied he wasn't familiar with contract but equipment would have to <br />be updated. <br /> <br />Mayor Synnet% reported Village would consider proposal after all the facts <br />are known and stated Village would need raceway in case of a ~ire emergenCFo <br /> <br />AtTy. Lyons reported lake was acquired with a 5tare grant and we would have <br />to acquire their consent before amending contract. <br /> <br />'fr. DiDomizio lequired as to condition of penstock ann Mr. lias~o replied <br />a minimum investment oI $15,000. would be required TO update equipment.' <br /> <br />Tr. Dolan reported that; if plan~ wasn't in operation for 6 months, contract <br />would be null and void, <br /> <br />Mr. ~asso to acquire more information and report back to the Village Rd. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />Minutes of a Public ltg. and the reoulsr mitering held Dec. 12, 1973 had been <br />duplicated an/J previously prt:sented to Board members. <br /> <br />Motion by Irc Ba~n, seconded by Tr, ~ilvestri that the above minutes be . <br />accepted as written. Carried. <br /> <br />Petitions: None <br /> <br />Communications: <br />Village JustiCe Rei]ly's report for month of Dec.~ 1973 was read showing a <br />total oi $371.00 collected in fines. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio, seconded by Tr. Silvestri that the above report be <br />accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. ¥inue Willian~s, 70 ~. Main St., reporting a tree <br />on Village property, in front of his home, seems :o be rotting and he requests <br />an ies[~ction be made. Request turned over to Public Works Comm. <br /> <br /> <br />
