A Voting Workshop sessign-was held on Wednesday, Septem33er ~, <br />2002 at 7: PM in -the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Present:Mayor Ross , Tr~Cerino , Tr. Consentino,Tr. Enson, <br />Tr. Weitlich, TR.Davis and Tr. Schinella. <br /> <br />Agenda Previously presented to the Board. <br /> <br />Old Business unresolved: <br /> <br />E.Hinzmann concern about tall Grass on vacant ~roperty on <br />Dutchess Ave.Tr. Cerino stated that the Zoning Enforcement <br />Officer Mr.G.Kolb sent a letter out to the owner of the <br />property to take care of it or the Village will and forward <br />labor charges to the Tax Roll. <br /> <br />S.Straub concern about the sidewalk condition in front of his <br />residents.Tr. Cerino said the condition has been poor for <br />several years.Tr. Cerino also said work was to begin on Friday <br />9/6/2002 and would also replace blacktop areas across the <br />street. <br /> <br />S.Straub concern about t%~o dead trees on private property <br />located at the corner of South Remson and E.Main. Tr. Cerino <br />said letters have been sent to the owners and action should <br />take place accordingly. <br /> <br />Old Business Resolved: <br /> <br />Re~aest for 23Rd. Annual K of C Run Insurance Policy and Map <br />for%zarded to the Town of Poughkeepsie's Clerk. Village Clerk <br />John M.Karge confirmed same. <br /> <br />New Business: <br /> <br />Mr. Domenico Concern about Kids using his tot to get to the <br />lower falls.He would like to put up a 6" fence connecting his <br />property to Village property~Tr. Weitlich confirmed meeting <br />with Mr. Dominico and talking about his concern. Tr.Weitlich <br />confirmed the fact that people are infect using his property <br />as a means of getting to the lower falts,Tr.Weitlich also has <br />a question about Ml~.Domenico using Village Property to erect <br />his fence on. Tr. Cerino stated that if the Village were to <br />place a fence on the Village line it'wou!d be up against <br />Mr. Dominico's Building.Mayor Ross stated that the southern <br />portion of Mr. Domenico's property facing Market street looks <br />very nice since he paved the parking area and put up a new <br />fence.The Village Attorney L.Vigtotti said we could grant <br />permission for Mr. Dominico to encroach on Village property <br />for the purpose of building a four foot high fence four feet <br />from the furthest point of the Northern side of his building <br />starting at Market Street and proceeding do~^~ towam~d the <br />gorge.This grantin~ of permission could be withdrawn in the <br />future if the Village Board deemed so.Tr.Weitlich made the <br /> <br /> <br />
