Regular meet/no 02 the Village Board o£ Trustees vas held on Wednesday~ <br />June 12~ 1974 at 7:00 P.M. in the American Legion Hall. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Synnett, Tr. Dolan, Tx. DiRerto, Tro Bain~ Tr. Si. lvestri, <br />'ir. Belding & Atty. Lynns. <br />Absent: Tr. Hoolihan, <br /> <br />Petitions: Hone <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />Minutes of last regular meeting held May 8~ 1974 had ~een duplicated and <br />previously presented to Board members, <br /> <br />~otion by Tr. liain~ seconded by Tr, DiSerto that the above minutes be <br />accepted as written, Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Samuel Ianone, representin9 Three Star Annodizings addressed meeting <br />reporting his co~pany neutralizes wastes into the creek. He stated they <br />wanted to get off the creek and possibly utilize Village's disposal.plant. <br />Mr. Ianone ~eported waste was a txeated effluent and a neutralized natural <br />alkalae, He stated he would bear the expense for the hook up. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain reported D.C. Health approval would be needed first. <br /> <br />Hr. Ianone reported product (copper tubing) is developed in the Village <br />and they wished to sta~ at their present location. <br /> <br />Atty. byons reported Village adopted a Sewer ordinance 3 o: 4 years ago <br />and Village ~ngineer would have to be advised as to what would be put <br />into the system. <br /> <br />Above request to be discussed with Villa0e Sngineer and determined at a <br />later date. <br /> <br />Mr. ~rt Weir, Chairman for Community Day, discussed plans for this event. <br />I~ stated they plan two days £or the last Sat. & Sunday in July. The first <br />day consisting of an Art show and possibly a concert with the West Point <br />band. A parade and picnic would be held the second day. He stated <br />coumittee needed $650.00 £or mue~cal entertainment. <br />Mr. Weir =eporSed theme for this event would be development of thw <br />Wappingers Lake. <br /> <br />~tr. Weir a~vised Village Treasurer would have to be contacted concerning <br />availability of funds for musical entertainment, <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Belding, seconded by Tro $ilvestri that permission be granted <br />to hold a parade on above mentioned date.
