The Regularly Scheduled Meeting of the Mayor and Village Board of Trustees was <br />held on September 8, 2004 at 7:30 P.M., in the American Legion Hall, 7 Spring Street, <br />Wappingers Falls, NY 12590. <br /> <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />MOMENT OF SILENCE in Remembrance of September 11th. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Mayor Lawrence, present; Deputy Mayor Juliano, absent; Tr. Enson, <br />present; Tr. Cerino, present; Tr. Marshall, present; Tr. Hilderbrand, present; Tr. Visentin, <br />present. <br /> <br />ACTION ON MINUTES: Regular Meeting August 1 lth; Special Meetings August 16th <br />and August 3 l~t. <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino to accept minutes of all meetings as written. Seconded by Tr. <br />Enson. All in favor. Carried. <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO PAY BILLS AS PER APPROVED WARRANT. <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Marshall to pay bills as per approved warrant. <br />All in favor. Carded. <br />Mayor Lawrence then asked if all the bills were coming in on time. <br />Clerk Karge stated all the Departments are doing an outstanding job in getting the bills <br />into the Treasurer. <br /> <br />Adjourn to Executive Session. Personnel. <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Marshall to adjourn to Executive Session. <br />All in favor. Carried. Executive Session 7:35 P.M. <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino, seconded by Tr. Hilderbrand to return to regular meeting. <br />All in favor. Carded. Returned to regular meeting 7:45 P.M. <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT of Building Inspector/Zoning Enforcement. Mayor. <br />Motion by Tr. Cerino that this appointment be tabled until the full Personnel Committee <br />could review the applicants at least for a second interview. Seconded by Tr. Enson. All <br />in favor. Carded. <br /> <br />Mayor Lawrence then stated Paula Kastanis would tike to address the Board in regard to <br />Christmas decorations. <br />Ms. Kastanis stated that Matt Alexander would address the Board. <br />Mr. Alexander stated they wanted to talk to everyone about an idea they had for a <br />historical home tour. They want to move ahead with it. They have permission from the <br />Historical Society and the Park Commission. They would like to open up the Homestead <br />and add six more homes in the Village to the tour during Christmas time: The money that <br />would be raised from that would go toward the Mesier Homestead restoration. They are <br />working on other ideas. <br />Ms. Kastanis stated they wanted to do something in the Park but she is not sure what they <br />are going to do. <br /> <br /> <br />
