Minutes following the 04/25/2018 Village Board Meeting <br /> "PLEASE TURNOFF CELL PHONES AND PAGERS PRIOR TO START OF HEARING <br /> /MEETING. <br /> THANK-YOU". <br /> Welcome to the Village of Wappingers Falls second monthly regular meeting of the <br /> Mayor and Board of Trustees today Wednesday,April 25, 2018, SPM.And Public <br /> Hearing 7 PM adopt final budget 2018-19. <br /> KC Engineering Project Discussion. <br /> Mayor Alexander turned the meeting over to Ms. Nancy Clark KC Engineering. <br /> Proiects for Discussion—Village of Wappingers Falls <br /> 2018-04-25 Village Board Workshop Meeting <br /> Projects and Assignments <br /> • Village/Utility Improvements Contract 4 <br /> • CW scope includes sanitary sewer main pipe replacement, sanitary sewer <br /> main pipe lining, manhole replacement, and manhole frame and cover <br /> replacement at targeted locations. <br /> • DW scope includes water main pipe replacement in three areas. <br /> • In addition, top course asphalt paving on a list of additional streets will be <br /> pursued as possible non-participating items funded by the Village, not part of <br /> CW and DW SRF. <br /> • Bids Due were to be due May 2. Bidder has requested an additional week for <br /> coordination with piping lining contractors. Bids now due May 9. See April <br /> 25 revised target schedule. <br /> • Consider Award May 23 or sooner if possible. This will require a Special <br /> Meeting. <br /> • Construction Start approximately June 20, 2018. <br /> • Construction Completion by June 14, 2019. <br /> • Village/ TAP Pedestrian Safety Improvements Project <br /> • Project includes sidewalks, crosswalks and pedestrian safety lighting in three <br /> areas on Route 9D from just north of School St to just south of Mill St. <br /> • NYSDOT Local Projects requirements are required. Dutchess County <br /> Department of planning requirements are also required due to CDBG funding. <br /> • Project includes RRFBs (Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons) again. KC has <br /> submitted RRFB item specifications. NYSDOT Region 8 has approved RRFP <br /> item spec and said they are waiting for NYSDOT Main Office approval of <br /> same.
