The following Resolution was introduced by Trustee Huber and seconded by <br /> Trustee Ponte. <br /> WHEREAS, the Village of Wappingers Falls Highway Department currently has <br /> a vacancy in their department for a full-time laborer; and <br /> WHEREAS, Highway Superintendent, Peter Paggi, by email dated July 14, 2021, <br /> has made a request and recommendation to the Mayor and the Village Board to hire a <br /> full-time laborer for the Highway Department; now, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village Board of Trustees hereby hires Liam <br /> Slocum to the position of full-time laborer for the Highway Department at an hourly rate <br /> of$21.43, with benefits as offered by the Village. <br /> The foregoing was put to a vote which resulted as follows: <br /> Yay Nay <br /> Mayor Rick Cerino X <br /> Kevin Huber—Trustee X <br /> Patrick Sidote—Trustee X <br /> Jennifer Niznik—Trustee X <br /> Michael Ruffen—Trustee X <br /> Anne Ponte—Trustee X <br /> Adam Lauricella—Trustee Absent <br /> Dated: July 14, 2021 <br /> Wappingers Falls, New York <br /> STATE OF NEW YORK ) <br /> ) SS: <br /> COUNTY OF DUTCHESS ) <br /> I, John Karge , Clerk of the Village of Wappingers Falls, New <br /> York, do hereby certify that I have compared the foregoing copy of this Resolution with <br /> the original on file in my office, and that the same is a true and correct transcript of said <br /> original Resolution and of the whole thereof, as duly adopted by said Village Board <br /> Page 2 of 6 <br />
