Abseht, Atty. $chofield. <br /> <br />M~etin~ called to order. Roll call. The minutes of the Previous regular and <br />Annual Meetin_~ were read. Upon motion by Truste~ Kane and seconded by <br />Trustee Berina~o the minutes stand adopted as read. <br /> <br /> 42477. A com~ication was remd from the ~.W. Johnson Eng. Co.~2 announcing <br />that G~rald Hundley was elected to active membership. Al&o announcing that t~ <br /> following officers were elected £or th~ year. Capt. Thcs. Conro~,Ist. Lieut. <br /> Wm. A com~unication was read from the ~.T.Garner Eng. Co.~I requesting a <br /> five years exemption certificate~for Fiore Silvestri. ~otion by Trustee Ter- <br /> williger and seconded by Truste8 Berinato the same be gr~nted. <br /> <br />2580. Police Ju~t~ice~Be2? report for the month of ~arch was read announcing <br />hat the sum of ~3~.0© c~llected in fines was turned over to the Treasurer <br />~or depositing. <br /> <br />$258I. Dr. O'Brien he21th o~ icer submitte~ the following report for the mon- <br />th of March. Duri~2 th~ month of March there were a great deal of sickness ir. <br />the Vil~age about the ~lrst part of the month there were a number of oases <br />of diarrhoea complaints, in fact it was dif-~'icult to ascertain whether it <br />due to the food or water or intestenal grippe. The latter part of ~the month a <br />great number of people suffering fro~'n throat ailment, a few of laryngitis. <br /> There were t~o ca.se~ of scarlet fever reported durinjE the end of month~ <br />both of the~ occurin~ in the same family. There were few minor complaints <br /> were investigated. Motion by Trustee ~a~,~i and seconded by Trustee Temp~ <br /> the reports be accepted as read. <br /> <br />$2582. Police .~ficer Eagan and Di~erto report of Arrest ~or the ~onth of <br />March was received and ordered filed. <br /> <br />A communication was read from the B.W. Johnson Eng. Co.~2 requestin~ that the <br />Board of Trustees have the inside of the fire house repainted as the sa~ne wa~ <br />in poor condition. Motion by Truste~ Kane~gnd seconded by Trustee Berinato <br />the communiaation be referred to the Chairman of the Fire Committee for mtt- <br />ent4on. <br /> <br />$ 24~3. Application fcr Park Commissioner for 3 years was read from Edward <br /> Hicks. Motion by Trustoo Kane and Seconded by Trustee Riley the samB be <br /> appointed for the term of 3 years. <br /> <br />Chairman Eane of the Highway Committee reported progress; <br /> <br />~ Chairman Riley of the Electric Light Com~Nittee reported~,progress;Under the <br />iBead of this report ~ayor MoCafferty suggested that the lights instaled, by <br /> <br />· the water tanks should be removed and placed upon t~e streets in the village <br /> as some seGtions of the village'oould Stan~ more lights. <br /> <br /> <br />
