A s~ecial meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the ~esie. r Home.- <br />stead on Thursday Evening ~ay, I?th. I9~5 at 7;30 ?.~. <br /> <br />Those present; Trustee Pag.ui, Riley, Temple, Kane, Berinato,Terwil!iger, <br />Mayor McCafferty, Treas.,LeRoy, Mr. ~[elluish and Mr. Larkin of the State <br />Health Dept. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order. Mayor McCafferty announced the object of the <br />meeting was for the purpose of hearing from the State Dept. sanitary <br />engineer who wishes to speak in regards to the operation of the disposal <br />plant. <br /> <br />'Mr. ~'~elluish announced that Mr. Larkin would do the talking in regards <br />to the operation of the disposal plant. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larkin reported that he had made a visit with Mr. Melluish to the <br />Village Disposal plant to investigate the same befcre attending the <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larkin stated that the disposal plant was not functioning properly <br />due to the maintaining of it, of course the caretaker has not go~ the <br />proper tools and supplies to work with, but at the same time the plant <br />could be improvSd and if the village wishes to ,go ahead with a post -war <br />project ~he state will meet the cost of half of the plans. <br /> <br /> Mr. Larkin also advised that the Village have their Engineer to ,check <br />over the disposal plant he might be able to work out some kind of a plan <br />.that 'would overcome the fault. <br /> The members of the Board decided tha~ they w~uld have the Village <br /> Engineer to check over the plant before making any changes. <br /> <br /> Mr. La'kin informed the board that the necessary tools and equipment <br /> would not cost any more than $ 25.00 for the caretaker. <br /> <br />No further business upon motion by Trustee Paggi and seconded by <br />Trustee Kane the meeting adjourn. <br /> <br />Jos.
