Schofield. <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order. Roll call. The minutes of the previous regular <br /> and special me~ting were read. Upon motion by Trustee Kane and seconded <br /> by Tr~stee Berinato the minutes stands adopted as read, <br /> <br /> $ ?496. Police Justice BeE~ report for the month of ~ay was read announci~ <br /> that the etna, of $ IO.OO collected in fine '~ras sent to Albany, State Dept. <br /> as to c:~ply with new law. <br /> <br /> ~,~497. Health Of?icer Dr. O'Brie,~ submitted the following report for the <br /> month of ',~ay. There were great many Colds and sore throats during the mon~ <br /> of May,most of them laryngeal type. No other disease reported to your <br /> health officer durin~ the mont,b. A toxoid and small pox vaccination clini~ <br /> !~as held at the C~nt~al ~chool ~&y~h. great many children were given <br /> ~oxoid and many were vac~inated,al~ ct' the vaccinations were successful <br /> probably due to the better vaccine being used. One complaint received con-i <br /> cerning building of cess pool near certain property,owher was compelled to'~ <br /> connect with local ,~ewer. ,'~otion by T-~st~ Kane and seconded by Trustee <br /> Ter'~illiger the reports be accepted as read. <br /> <br />$2498. A com.v, unication was read fro:~ the a.W. Johnson Eng. Co.$2 requesting, <br />a five years certificate for Joseph Di Rocco and Anthony Panteline. Also <br />requesting a life roll ex~lb~llz~ certificate for Leslie Hadden, Frat~k M. <br />Riley and Thcs. ,~. Doran. Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded by ~r. <br />ustee Ter"'illiger the certificates be granted. <br />#2499. A communication addressed to Mayor McCaf~rty ~ Prof. Collins of <br /> the Central School requesting if the Village would make a contribution <br /> towards the school summer recreati,on fund'? Motion by Trustee Riley and <br /> seconded by Trustee Kane the Vi ~lage Attorney be approached to advise the! <br /> members of the Boa~rd if the same would be legal. <br /> <br />$ Ch~,irman Kane of the Highway Com.~,lttee reported progress; <br /> <br /> Chairman Riley of the Electric Light Co,,,~:~,,:~.lttee reported that the Central <br />Hudson G & E..has been notified of where to place the lights that a~e to b~ <br />taken from around the water tar~s to improve the street lighting. <br /> <br /> Chairman T~, <br /> :ple of~ the Fire Com~:~ittee reported progress; <br /> <br /> Trustee Kane a member of_ the Water Board reported progress; <br /> <br /> Chairman Terwilliger of the Ordinance Co~.,,~::ittee reported progress; <br /> <br /> Chairman Berinato of the Sewer & Sanitation Con,~,ittee reported that the <br /> caretaker of the disposal plant informed him that the tools the state <br /> sanitary Engineer Melluish suggested to p~rchased will not be of any use <br /> for him at the disposal pl~'nt as they are not the proper type. <br /> <br /> Chairman l~aggi of the Miscellaneous eom: ittee reported progress; <br /> <br /> $2500.
