Those Present; Trustee Paggi, Riley, Ten~ple, Kane,Berinato,Terwilliger, Mayor '~cCafferty and. Treas. LeRoy. Absent. Atty. Schofield. Meeting called to order. Roll call. The minutes of the previous regular and special me~ting were read. Upon motion by Trustee Kane and seconded by Tr~stee Berinato the minutes stands adopted as read, $ ?496. Police Justice BeE~ report for the month of ~ay was read announci~ that the etna, of $ IO.OO collected in fine '~ras sent to Albany, State Dept. as to c:~ply with new law. ~,~497. Health Of?icer Dr. O'Brie,~ submitted the following report for the month of ',~ay. There were great many Colds and sore throats during the mon~ of May,most of them laryngeal type. No other disease reported to your health officer durin~ the mont,b. A toxoid and small pox vaccination clini~ !~as held at the C~nt~al ~chool ~&y~h. great many children were given ~oxoid and many were vac~inated,al~ ct' the vaccinations were successful probably due to the better vaccine being used. One complaint received con-i cerning building of cess pool near certain property,owher was compelled to'~ connect with local ,~ewer. ,'~otion by T-~st~ Kane and seconded by Trustee Ter'~illiger the reports be accepted as read. $2498. A com.v, unication was read fro:~ the a.W. Johnson Eng. Co.$2 requesting, a five years certificate for Joseph Di Rocco and Anthony Panteline. Also requesting a life roll ex~lb~llz~ certificate for Leslie Hadden, Frat~k M. Riley and Thcs. ,~. Doran. Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded by ~r. ustee Ter"'illiger the certificates be granted. #2499. A communication addressed to Mayor McCaf~rty ~ Prof. Collins of the Central School requesting if the Village would make a contribution towards the school summer recreati,on fund'? Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Kane the Vi ~lage Attorney be approached to advise the! members of the Boa~rd if the same would be legal. $ Ch~,irman Kane of the Highway Com.~,lttee reported progress; Chairman Riley of the Electric Light Co,,,~:~,,:~.lttee reported that the Central Hudson G & E..has been notified of where to place the lights that a~e to b~ taken from around the water tar~s to improve the street lighting. Chairman T~, :ple of~ the Fire Com~:~ittee reported progress; Trustee Kane a member of_ the Water Board reported progress; Chairman Terwilliger of the Ordinance Co~.,,~::ittee reported progress; Chairman Berinato of the Sewer & Sanitation Con,~,ittee reported that the caretaker of the disposal plant informed him that the tools the state sanitary Engineer Melluish suggested to p~rchased will not be of any use for him at the disposal pl~'nt as they are not the proper type.
