The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Mesier Homestead on Wednesday Evening October 3rd. I945 at 7;3o Those present; Trustee Paggi, Riley, Temple, Kane, Berinato,Terwilliger, Mayor McCafferty, Atty. Schofield and Treas. LeRoy. Meeting called to order. Roll call. The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read. Upon motion by Trustee Kane and seconded by Trustee Pag~gi the minutes stand adopted as read. $2525. Police Justice Begg report for th, month of September was read announcing that the sum of $ 60.00 collected in fines was forward to the State Dept. as to comply with the new law. Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Paggi the report be accepted as read. $ 2526. A communication was read from the S.W~Johnson Eng. Co.$2 request- ing a five years exemption certificate for J.F.X. Delehanty and & Life Rol2 exemption certificate for Wm. Lattanzio. Motion by Trustee Berin&to and seconded by Trustee Terwilliger the s~_me be granted. :$ 2527. An invitation was read from the S.W.Jo~nson Eng. Co.~2 inviting the members of the Board and other officials to be their guest on the I3th. of October. Motion bY Trustee Berinato and seconded by Trustee Kane the same be accepted. $2528' Health officer Dr. O'Brien submitted the following report for the mont. h of July, August and September: During the month of July no =sport was forward on account of overlooking, the date of the meeting. During the mont2 of July there seemed to be plenty of illness mostly of the stomach and in- tes$inal grippe,no contagios disease reported du~.ing the month, one men- tal.derangement case was sent to the Hudson River State Hospital on a health officer permit. During the month of August your health officer~ was~away on his vaca.tion. ~In the month ~of September because of the sudden change in temperture, there were many cases of colds and coughs, no contag- ious disease reported. Water sample, was taken and sent to Albany for ex- amination at the end of the month. Motion by Trustee Paggi and seconded by TruBtee Riley the report be accepted as read. $2529. A letter received from the Pizzuto Bus Co. in reply to the one for- ward in regards to the Bus drivers stopping the buses at the corner instea¢ of the center of the Stone Bridge. Same ordered filed. ~25~0, A liability and property damage policy on the Garbage truck was received from Agent D.D.Beasley for renewal. Motion by Trustee Terwilliger and. seconded by Trustee Paggi the policy be renewed and the bill ordered paid. $253I. Police Officer E&gan and DiBerto report of arrest for the montk of'~ September was received and ordered filed. Ch$ir~man Kane of the'Highway Committee reported that the letters mailed out to the Businessmen of the Village in regards to sweeping papers Etc. into the streets has done some good. He also reported that the G.M.C. truck was in need of repairs and he suggested that we should do somet~aing about getting a truck as we will need one for plowing the highways this winter. Under the head of this report Mayor McCafferty reported that he had received a catalog from the U.S. Government listing trucks for sale. The members of the Board discussed the question of purchasing a ~=uok.
