The Annual meeting of the Board of Trustees was h~ld at the ~esier <br />Homestead o n l~onda¥ Evening April, Ist. I946 at 7;~. <br /> <br />Those present; Trustee PaEgi, Riley, Temple, Kane,Berinato,~erwilllger, <br />~ayor McCafferty. <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order, Rayor :,~cCafferty announced that the object of <br />the meeting was for the purpose of making the an,-~ual appointments and <br />any other busines~ that should come before this meeting. <br /> <br />Clerk Sherman an~ounced that all trustees elected at the recent election <br />have been duly sworn in and also file their affidavit in compliance with <br />section 59 of thc Village Law. <br /> <br /> Motion by Trustee Riley and s:~conded by Trustee Pag:'l the Beacon News <br /> be adopted as the official newspaper for the villag.? notices. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded by Truste~ Pag~i we adopt the <br />f.irst Wednesd. ay of each ~on~h as the regular meeting night and the hour bei <br />7,3o (Carried) <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Paggi we a.dopt the day- <br />light savin~ plan if the county adopts the ss~me. (Carried) <br /> <br /> .... ~ ~ Trustee Temple the followin~ <br />!~'otion by Trustee Berinato and s~o_~d~a by <br />resolution be adopted. RESOLVED; That the Nationsl ~nk of Wappingers <br />be designated as the depository for village funds. (Carried) ! <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded by Trustee Paggi the compensation <br />for the inspectors of election be set at $ 6.00 for registration ~ays and <br />$ I2.O~) for Election day. (Carried) <br /> <br />~iotion.,by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Terwilllger the wage rate <br />for labor be set at .85 cents per hour. (Carried) <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Paggi the wage rate for <br />John Berinato skill labor be set at ~ I.O0 per hour. (Carried) <br /> <br /> Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded by T.rustee Paggi the Regular <br />ice salary be set at $ 42.00 per week. (Carried) <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Pagzi and seconded by Trustee Temple the Village Clerk <br />salary be increased $ 200.00 per year.
