I~5 at ?;30 <br /> <br /> Those present; Trustee Paggi, Riley, Temple, Kane,Berinato,Terwilliger, <br /> Hayer [',icCafferty, Atty. Schofield and Treas. LeRoy. <br /> <br /> ~[eetin? called to order. Roll call. The i~inutes of the previous regular <br /> meetin~ were read. Upon motion by Trustee Kane and seconded by .Trustee <br /> Ber-inato the minutes stand adopted as read. <br /> <br /> ~2638. Police Justice Be~z report f. or the month of April was read announc- <br /> ing that the sum of ~ 283~OO collected in fines and bonds we. re sent to t.he <br /> State Dept. as to comply with the ne~~. law. <br /> <br /> ~2637. Health offficer Dr. O'Brien submitted the following report for the <br /> month of April. Buring the month of April there were the usual number of <br /> cases of seasonal illness also quite a few maces of tonstlitis and t~oat <br /> condition on bacterial smears they were reported as neither dtptheria nor <br /> streptoccal, there also seemed to be a considerable n~:ber of cases of lary- <br /> ngeal infection which responded to su~l~hur drugs probably a mild form of <br /> streptococcus infection. Water sample were collected and sent to Albany <br /> report received was very satisffactory as usual. There were no major comp- <br /> laints, also one individual wish to install a oess-pool but was refused be~ <br /> cause of village ordinance. <br /> <br /> $2638. A letter of t~anks was read fro~.~ the Beacon News for deeignati~g <br /> there paper as the official newspaper for village notices. A com:~unioati~n was read from the Veterans of Foreign war post 5913 <br /> resuesti~ng~permis,~ion to conduct a poppy sale the week o£ ~ay 23rd. to the <br /> 3Otb. cz ~ay. ~.,~otion by Trust~,:~ Riley and seconded by Trustee Kane per- <br /> mission be granted. <br /> <br /> ~2640. A co~.unication was read from the J.£~[or~is Goring-Wm. Kurtz Post <br /> ~27 American Legion extending an invitation to the members of the Board t~ <br /> take part in parade on ~.iemorial day also requesZing permission to parade o~ <br /> ~ay 3Otb. and the Village furnish a police escort. ~dotion by Trustee Tem- <br /> ple and seconded by Trustee Pag~i invitation be accepted and permission to <br /> parade be granted. <br /> <br /> ~64I~' A communication was read from the Girl Scout council requesting per~ <br /> mission to conduct a tag day on the the date of ~ay IIth. to raise funds <br /> for their camp. ~otion by Trustee Kane and seconded by Trustee Riley per- ~ <br /> mission be granted. <br /> <br />#26~2. C.~uldoon,C.Caprara,D.Decker,F.Guntzel,L.Hadden. Motion <br />by Trustee Temple and seconded by Trustee Terwilliger the drivers and fire <br />police be confirmed. <br /> <br /> ~ -~6~3. A com~unication read from John Pantaleon of Nelson Ave. requestint <br /> the Board of Trustees to have the ditch covered running through his prop- <br /> erty.
