'Upon <br />motion by Trustee Kane and seconded by Trustee Berinato the minutes stand <br />adopted as read. <br /> <br /># 2713. Police Justice BegE,report for the month of September was read <br />.ann. oun. cin~g that, the sum.offS 219..O0 .collected ,in fines and bonds was' sent <br />to the State Dept,. as .to comply with the new law.. <br /> <br />$ ~?I~. Health officer Dr. O'Brien submitted the following report ~or the <br />month of September. announcing that due to the continued mild weather the <br />health of the village was good during the month of .Sept. There was one <br />case of infantile paralysis diagnosed at the Central School this case was <br />a pupil who lived.in the town of East Fishkill and was sent to Vassar Hosp <br />ital. There were no other cases observed. A sample of the village water <br />was taken and sent to Albany for examination and report was very satisfac- <br />tory as usual. No cases cf contagious disease was reported to your Health <br /> officer during the month. Motion by Trustee Paggi and seconded by Trus- <br /> tee Kane the report of the police Justice and Health officer be accepted <br /> as r~ad. <br /> <br /> ~ 2715. A letter of thanks was received from Mrs. Helen McCafferty for <br />the kindness showing during her recent bereavement and also for appointing <br /> her to the office of Mayor to fill unexpired term of her husband the late <br /> Mayor Jas. MoCafferty. Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee <br /> Paggl the same be accepted and filed. <br /> <br />$ 2716. A Communication was read from the Mayor conference expressing <br />their symphaty to the Board of Trustees on the death of the late Mayor <br />McOafferty. <br />$ 2?I?. A resolution was received from the Lafayette Lodge Nc. IS I.O.O.F. <br />of the village on/the death of the late Mayor MoOafferty. <br /> ! <br /># 27I~. A communication was read from the Board of Trustees of the Village <br />of Cold Spring expressing, their symphaty to the Board on the death of the <br />late Mayor MoCafferty. Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded by Trustee <br />Paggi the resolution and letters expressing their symphaty be accepted and <br />filed. <br /> <br />~ 27I9. Police officer Eagan, DiBerto and Costa report of arrest for the <br />month of September was received and ordered filed. <br /> <br /># 2720. A Communication was received from the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.~2 <br />announcing that Charles Miller and Rocoo Napoleon was elected to active <br />membership. Also requesting a life roll exemption certificate for Frank <br />Marshall and Wm. Napoleon, Jr. Motion b~ Trustee Riley and seconded by <br />Trustee Kane the members be confirmed and the certificates granted. <br /> <br /> <br />
