Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Paggi the Clerk be author- ized to have the notice of election published and posted and obtain the neces ~ary supplies. Agent. Dorald D. Beasley annodnced that he was re- quested by the committee of the fire companies to attend this meeting to go. into details concerning the firemen compensation policy for greater benefits and better protection. Mr. Beasley remarked that he would give details on ~uch policies as far as he has made a study of them. He would like to have the Board of Trustees approval to have the rel~resentatives the company to call and give the necessary information and they would . also have some moving pictures which they would show concerning this part- icular policy and they would also show some pictures of boxing bouts, if the. Board approves of having a special gathering in one of the fire houses of the members of the Board and the firemen to hear the lecture view the motion pictures he would drop a line to the representative to ascertain th.e date of when they will call and he will notify the Village clerk who ca.n send out notices to the Board and firemen. T · Board of Trustees was pleased with the suggestion and requested Agent Beasley to have the repres- entatives to call. Deputy Chief Joe Burnett requested if ithe Board would include in the next bl~dget the cost of 500 feet of Fire hose~ 250 Feet for each company, he also requested if the Board was going to pur-~ chased some chairs or benches for the Johnson fire company meeting room as the members arts.haling the meeting sit on the fire apparatus or have to stand during the meeting as the company has only a couple of chairs.
