The Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the ~esie~ Home- <br />stead on Wednesday Evening July 2nd. I9~7' at Y;30 P.~,~. <br /> <br /> Those present; Trustee Paggi, 9idote, Riley, Goebel,Berinato,Terwilliger, <br />Mayor Temple and Treas. LeRoy. Absent, Atty. 9chofield. <br /> <br />Meeting called to order. Roll call. The. minutes of the previous regular <br />and continued meeting were read. Upon motion by Trustee Berinato and sec- <br />onded by Truste~ Paggi the minutes stand adopted as read. <br /> <br />Commander. Phillips Morton of the V.F.W.~ Post 5913 approached the Board in <br />regards to placing a plaque containing the name~ of those who paid the sup- <br />reme sacrifice during world war two. Commander i~orton if permission is <br />granted l~y ~he Board of Trustees the arrangesents would be made and the <br />location selected is by the flag pole where ~he Honor Roll was removed <br />from. He also requested that the village Board leave the yew treeg in the <br />location they are now in. ~otion was offered by Trustee Riley and <br />seconded by Trustee Terwilliger permission be granted to the V.F.~. post <br />5913 to go ahead with their plans of placing the. plaque in the ~esier Park <br />by the flag pole the location selected. <br /> <br />$2352 . Police Justice Begg report for the month of June was read announ- <br />cing that the s~ of $ 322.DO collected in fines & Bonds were sent to the <br />state dept. as to comply with the law. ~otion by TrusZee Terwll!iger <br />and seconded by Trustee Berinato the report be accepted as read. <br /> <br /> $2353. A Con~munica~ion was read from the W.T.Garner Eng. Co.#I requesting <br />'~a life roll exemption certificate for [¥~ioh. Sidote,Amerioo Visentin, Edward <br /> C. Soofield and Paul Gutman. Eotion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trt{~ <br /> stee Goebel the oertifio~tes be granted. ' <br /> ~2353. A Com~:~unication was read from the W.T.Garner Eng. Co.$I announcing <br />ithat Loren Seoor wa~ elected President of the Co~pany and Ameri.co Visentin <br /> recording secretary. !~otion by Trustee Terwilliger and seconded by Trusts, <br /> Berinato the officers be confirmed. ,' <br /> <br /> $2354. A Communication was read from the W.T.Garner Eng. Os.SI inviting the <br /> the members of the ?card to be their guest at the parade July I2th. to be <br /> held at Arlin~ton N.Y. gotion by Trustee Berinato and Seconded by Trus- <br /> tee PagMi the invitation be ac::epted and all members try to attend. <br /> <br /> $2355. Dr, O'Brien Health officer submitted the fol'~owing report for the <br /> month of June. During the month of June the:'e were no special outbreak of <br /> disease or epidemic of any kind. In the early part of the month there seem. <br /> ed to be an infectious type of laryngitis which was more of less prevalent. <br /> Their were afe'.? cases of dysintery. There were no other oases of any <br /> disease reported to your health officer. Sample of Water was taken and sent <br /> to Albany and the report was satisfactory as usual. No oomplalnts were <br /> received during the month. Motion by Trustee Terwilliger and seconded by <br /> Trustee Berinato the. report be accepted as read. <br /> <br /> $2356. Volunteer Firemen Liability policy w~s received from Ag.tnt Walker <br /> for Renewal. <br /> <br />~ 2357.
