LeMoy ~ Atty. Schofield. <br /> <br /> getting called to order. Roll call. The minute~ of the previous regular <br />meeting were read. Upon motion by Truste~ Berinato and seconded by Truste <br />Goebel the minutes stand adopted as read. <br /> <br />$2360. Police Justice B~gg report for the month of July was read announcing <br />that the sum of $ 253.00 collected in fines and bonds were sent to the state <br />~Dept. ae to comply with the new law. ~otion by Trustee Tert~lliger and sec- <br />ionded by Trustee Berinato the report be accepted as read. <br /> <br />i$236I. Health (~fficer Dr. O'Brien submitted the following report for the <br />imonth of July. During the month of July there was a moderate amount of ill- <br />!ness in the vi~Smage. Three cases of measles were reported to your H~alth <br />i officer and two cases of mumps. Yo~ur Health officer attended the annual <br />Iconference of health officers at Saratoga during the last three days of the <br />!month, it was rather an instructive session. Sample of water w~s~collec~ed <br />',and the report received was satisfactory as usus~l. I received pamphlets con- <br />!oerning washing dishes etc. in restaurants of the village and the-se were <br />distributed and a list of all eating places in the village were sent to the <br />Dist. Co.$I requesting <br />~ five years exemption certificate for John Berin~to and a life?oll exemp- <br />tion certificate for James Simmons. oalso ,announcing that John Certorani and <br />tEarl Pettit were elected to active m~mbership. ~otion by Trustee Riley and <br />~sec°nded by Trustee Goebel the certificates be granted ~nd the members be <br /> confirmed. <br /> <br />.$~363. A communication was read from the $.W. Johnson Eng. A commur~ication re~d from Chief Joe. Burnett of the Fire Dept. in <br /> regards to fire at 4;30 A.~[. July IIth. caused by a electric hot plate in <br /> the $chaeffer market on East ~ain Street and discovered by Lieut. Costa <br /> who called him to investigate the-same. The oom:~;unication was ordered filed <br /> <br /> ~ayor Temple announced we will dispense with the zegular order of business <br /> in o~der to hear from those present who wishes to speak before the members <br /> of the Board. A repressntative for the cathodic attachments for the <br /> Water tanks approached the board in regards to having the attachments in- <br /> stalled in the village water tanks as to keep the tanks from rusting and <br /> also give better drinking water. He refer~ed to different villages and cit- <br /> ies who are now using the ~ttachment which will give the tanks longer life <br /> Mayor Temple remarked that this matter be referred ~o the W~ ter com~issione~ <br /> to act on. <br /> <br /> <br />
