24t The Annual meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Mesi~r Homestead on ~tonday Evening, April 5th. I9~8 at ? P.M. . Tho se ~resent; Trustee Feeney, Sidote, Riley,Goebel,Berinato,Terwlltiger, Mayor Temple. Meeting called to order. Roll call. Mayor Temple announced the object of the meeting was for the ourpose of making the annual appointments and any other business that should come before this meeting. Clerk Sherman announced that all officers elected at the previous village election have been duly sworn in and ~ so filed their affidavit in comp- liance with section 59 of the Village law. Motion by Trustee Go~bel and seconded by Trustee Feeney the Beacon News be adopted as the official newspaper for village notices. (0arried) Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Sidote we adopt the first Wednesday of each month as. the regular meeting night and the hour be ?;3© P.M. (Carried) Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Berinato we adopt day- light saving plan if the county adopts the same. (Carried) Motion by Trustee Terwilliger and seconded by Trustee Goebel the following~ resolution be adopted. RESOLVED: That the National Bank of Wappingers Falls~ be designated as the depository for village funds. (Carried) Motion by Trustee Riley 'and seconded by Trustee Goebel the inspectors of election compensation be set at $ 6.00 for registrat~ion days and $ I2.00 fgr Election. (Carried) Motion by Trustee Feeney and seconded by Trustee Goebel the rate per hou~ for laborer be increased from .90$ to $ I.OO per Hour. (Ci~rried) Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Feeney the rat. e per hgu~ for John Berinato be increased from $ I.O5 to $ 1.20 Per Hou~.(Oarried) Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded by TrUstee Goebel the regular Po.lice salary be increased from $ 47. OO to $ 50.00 per week. (Carried) Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded bv Trustee Goebel all other salaries remain the same as last year. ~Carried) Mayor Temple submitted the following estimates for the annual budget. Trustee Riley,Berinato,Goebel, Next in order was the reading of applications for appointments and Mayor Temple appointed Trustee Terwllliger and Trustee Feeney to act as tellers.
