MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD <br /> <br />-2- 2/3/05 <br /> <br />Next on the agenda was the application of Bondo's Jerky Hut with a sign proposal and <br />for informal appearance to be able to use building to make beef jerky (dehydrating and <br />drying beef- packaging it for sale) and making perogies and freezing them for sale. <br />Applicant stated he will need approvals from the State Dept. of Marketing and <br />Agriculture. Mr. Morris asked about noise - and applicant stated standard butchering <br />noise. Applicant stated business would be primarily take out - he stated he would have <br />a few tables in there but they are mainly for the owners to take a "break". Applicant was <br />reminded that he would have to work with the Plumbing and Building Inspectors are all <br />conformance to building codes. It was stated it is an allowed use for this zone. <br />Applicants were reminded that if they decided to start having seating for the public and <br />serving food inside - they would have to come back to the Board to discuss parking. <br />Stated hours will be Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday 10:00-5:00 <br />and Sunday 10:00 to 4:00. If applicants want to change hours of operation they will have <br />to come back to the Planning Board for approval. Mr. MonSs asked how applicants <br />would take care of their waste - applicants stated they would have two trash cans on the <br />left of the building and Mr. Alfonso recommended that they be closed in to prevent <br />animals or rodents. Applicant stated they would only be using one storefront of the <br />building. Applicant also stated there would be no chemicals on site. Mr. Alfonso made <br />a motion to allow the use of the property for Bondo's Jerky Hut contingent upon the <br />hours discussed, trash cans being enclosed and applicants working with both the Building <br />Inspector and Plumbing Inspector to conform to all Village and state building codes. <br />Motion seconded by Mr. McCormick. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />The sign was again discussed. Applicant stated sign would be double faced and down lit <br />with goosenecks. After reviewing the permit for conformance to the code, Mr. Moran <br />made a motion to approve the sign as presented, seconded by Mr. Alfonso contingent <br />upon applicant providing office color chips of the sign colors. Unanimously carried. <br />Applicants were reminded to keep the wattage as low a illumination as possible and to <br />bring in the wattage for inclusion in the files of the Planning Office. <br /> <br />JOANNE MINUTOLO, HOLIDAY BOWLING ALLEY PARKING LOT <br />Next on the agenda is a discussion with Ms. Joanne Minutolo regarding moving her hot <br />dog wagon to the Holiday Bowling Alley parking lot. Ms. Minutolo presented the <br />Board with a sketch of the parking. It was noted on the plan that there are eight spots <br />reserved for Leprechaun Bus lines. Mr. Morris questioned if there was enough allowable <br />parking for the owners to be able to rent spots? Mr. Morris asked Code Enforcement <br />Brutting to check to see if there is enough required parking for all uses. Mr. Morris read <br />a letter dated November 22, 2004 from Holiday Bowl stated the Hot Dog Wagon has <br />their permission to be on the property. (Copy of letter on file in the Planning/Zoning <br />offices). Applicant was reminded to change former vending permit and update with new <br />location. Mr. Alfonso made a motion allowing the hot dog wagon to be at the Holiday <br />Bowling Alley parking lot contingent upon (1) applicant supplying letter to the Planning <br />Office stating owners had no objections to her having two picnic tables and (2) supplying <br /> <br /> <br />
