On roll call <br />vote - Mr. Alfonso - Aye, Mr. McCormick - Aye, Mr. Moran - Aye, Mr. Alexander - <br />Aye, and Mr. Morris - Nay. <br /> <br />GEORGE KOLB, 58 MCKINLEY STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal from George Kolb to erect a protective overhang to <br />keep snow and rain offthe doors at the double entrance at 58 McKinley Street. Mr. <br />Kolb showed the Board a sketch of the proposed overhang. He stated he had purchased <br />the building approximately 3 years ago and has been restoring it ever since. An extensive <br />amount of snow and rain hits the front doors (which were painstakingly rep!aced) and he <br />is just asking for a small overhang. It will be self supporting - no posts - it will actually <br />be made from the recycled beams from the building. It will be a slate roof and will be <br />painted hunter green. There will be no lights. He also stated it would not interfere with <br />any parking of vehicles. At this point Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the <br />overhang as presented, seconded by Mr. Moran. On roll call vote - Mr. McCormick - <br />Aye, Mr. Moran - Aye, Mr. Morris - Aye, Mx. Alexander - Aye and Mr. Alfonso - Aye. <br /> <br />CHRISTOPHER MORRIS~ 2696(A) WEST MAIN STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal for a sign by Christopher Morris for 2696(A) West <br />Main Street. Mr. Morris recused himself from this hearing as he is related to the <br />applicant. Mr. Alfonso took over for Mr. Morris. Applicant presented a drawing of the <br />sign and also color samples to the Board. He stated sign would be offset from the <br />building 2 inches. There will be a gooseneck shining down onto the sign. It will be a <br />single faced sign - directly above the door. The dimensions of the sign are 22" x 39 <br />After reviewing for conformance - Mr. Moran made a motion to approved the sign, <br />seconded by Mr. MrCormick. On roll call vote - Mr. Alfonso - Aye, Mr. Moran - Aye, <br />Mr. McCormick - Aye, Mr. Alexander - Aye and Mr. Morris - Abstain. <br /> <br />K&I) DEL1, DUTCHESS SHOPPING PLAZA <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal by K&D Deli for a sign in the Dutchess Shopping <br />Plaza. The sign will be replacing the one previously proposed and approved for Pastranfi <br />and More. Applicant presented color samples to the Board. The sign is back lit with <br />fluorescent bulbs. It was stated that applicant needed the signature of the property owner <br />on the application. After reviewing for conformance - Mr. Alfonso made a motion to <br />approve the sign as presented contingent upon applicant getting plaza owner's signature <br />on the application. Motion seconded by Mr. Moran. On roll call vote - Mr. Morris - <br />Aye, Mr. McCormick - Aye, Mr. Alfonso - Aye, Mr. Alexander - Aye and Mr. Moran - <br />Aye. <br /> <br />STONEBRIDGE ANTIQUES~ 2657 EAST MAIN STREET <br />Next on the agenda was a proposal for a new sign and changing the faqade of Stonebridge <br />Antiques at 2657 East Main Street. Mr. Alexander recused himself from this hearing as <br />he is a partner in the above business. Applicant presented a sketch of both the sign and <br /> <br /> <br />
